57: You're Happy To Meet Me? I'm Happy To Meet You!

Ellie's P.O.V

"Let's go, boys!" Paul honks the car horn outside Harry, Zayn, Louis and Liam's house.

They each scramble out the door, one by one and get in the car with Niall and I.

"Decided to join us, aye?" Niall chuckles as Zayn slams the car door shut behind him.

"I'm nervous." I mumble to Niall as we pull up to a bunch of screams and flashing lights.

"Don't be." Niall reassuringly squeezes my hand.

"Is that Ellie Payne with Niall Horan? Are they official?" I hear murmurs once we step out of the car.

"Niall! Over here! Is there a baby Horan on the way?" A reporter asks causing me to madly blush.

"You see? Even the media want a baby!" Niall chuckles, quiet enough for only me to hear.

"Let's get a kiss!" A reporter demands.

"I've gotta go talk to some people. There's a few people over there who look excited to see you."

I turn towards a crowd of familiar faces that I've never actually seen in reality before.

"You're Ellie Payne, the YouTuber, right? You look so much different in person!" Ellie Goulding runs up to me excitedly.

"I'm such a huge fan!" Olly Murs joins her.

"You're a big fan? I'm a huge fan of you two! You're both so talented!" I grin.

"That means the world coming from you!" Ellie gushes.

"Who are you here with anyways? I mean, no offense or anything but, you're not exactly in the music career." She continues.

"Oh I'm just here with Niall." I shrug.

"You mean Niall Horan from One Direction! I knew you guys had a thing going but I didn't think it was serious-" a tap on my shoulder makes Olly stop and stand in awe.

"Luv, Niall's doing an interview and he wants you." Harry offers a slight smirk.

"Tell him to give me a minute. I can't do anything without that boy with me." I dramatically sigh.

"See you two around, I guess." I say as I walk towards the flashing cameras with a wave to Olly and Ellie.

"I can't go anywhere without you following me you idiot." I smirk as I walk over to Niall.

"Oh please, you love me."

"Yeah. And you're one lucky son of a-"

"Language, Princess! And you know I am."

"Niall! Can we get a Nialie kiss?!" A reporter shouts.

"Come 'ere. Let's give 'em what they want." He puts an arm around my shoulder and pulls me closer.

"You're lucky I love you so much." I mumble before he presses his lips to mine. I hear cameras snapping pictures and people talking.

"This isn't the time." I whisper in his ear on my tippy-toes.

"Who's that?" Many voices, including our own, ask as a brunette boy wearing a tan trench coat with black rimmed glasses who looks around 17, steps out of a limousine.

His eyes wander over to me and his jaw drops in awe.

"Are you Ellie Payne?" He nervously comes up to me and starts to play with his hands.

"Yeah. Who do I have the pleasure of meeting on this fine evening?" I ask with a goofy grin smacked on my face.

"Ché. Ché Chesterman. I was nominated for the YouTube covers category." He answers my next question.

"Nice to meet you Ché. I guess I'll be seeing you in New York this weekend too huh?" I infer. 

"Yeah." He shoots me a surprised smirk but drops it when Niall turns around.

"Who's this?" He gives me a smile but I can sense the jealous glare behind it.

"This is Ché. Ché this is my boyfriend, Niall."

"Good luck, Niall. And good luck to you too this weekend, Ellie." He says the first sentence almost like he has to but speaks to me with a cheery voice.

"C'mon lads. Let's go inside." Liam rounds us all up.

Once I step foot in the huge room, I'm awestruck.

"Woah..."

"Ellie! Over here!" Olly waves me over and I shyly smile.

"Boys! Let's go over here." I say as I head over towards Ellie and Olly who are sitting behind Ché.

"Miss me?" I chuckle as I sit behind him and next to Olly.

"The final award of the night is: Best YouTube Cover Artist." The host says and I violently shake Ché's shoulders.

"And the winner is... Ché Chesterman!"

He stands up and walks to the stage to receive his award and say a few words.

"I want to thank Ellie Payne for this award. She inspired me with her cover of All About Us on YouTube, to follow my dreams and do what I want." He says, then carries on with a few thanks to his family and friends.

As people start leaving, I see Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez make their way over to me.

"I can't believe I'm finally meeting you!" Selena shrieks.

"What she means is, can we get a photo? We're big fans." Taylor corrects her.

"I'm a huge fan of you two. I should be asking you!"

We quickly snap a picture on each of our phones and I see Ché waving me over.

"I've gotta go, but is it ok if I put that pic in my new YouTube video?"

"It's fine." Taylor says and they both head somewhere else with big smiles.

I run over to Ché and fling myself around him.

"I knew you would win." I cheekily pinch his cheeks.

"Whatever. You know, I'm thinking about trying out for X-Factor when I'm 19. You're a amazing singer, you should too."

"Maybe I will."

"Oh, my ride's here. See you soon I hope." He says. We switch phone numbers and promise to keep in touch.

I spot Liam waving me over and speed walk over to him.

Paul starts up the car as I slam my door shut and we're on our way back home.

Or so I thought...
