Chapter 12- Fun

A.N: Hey! I finally decided on a story line for this story but I might end up changing it lol :p anyway what are your ideas? I would love to hear them! :D Your wait is over! I am so sorry for not uploading sooner but Here's chapter 12 :)

   After getting ready I sent a quick text to Charlie telling him that I was going into town with a couple of friends and would be back by the time he came home and he didn't seem to mind. I think he was glad that I was making friends here my own age.

    I heard a car pull up the drive way and a car door slam shut and by the time their was a knock at the door I was already two feet from the door. I took a deep breath and opened it too see a girl about an inch or so taller than me with light blonde hair, so light it almost looked silver to me and ice blue eyes. "Hey!" She said smiling at me and then I recognized her as one of the girls I sat with at school. What was her name? I kept trying to search for a name when I relized she was looking at me "Are you ok?" she asked a little concerned "Oh yeah I'm fine sorry I guess a blanked out for minute" I told her, she smiled. Kirsten I thought to myself Her name was Kirsten.

    We both walked out of the house and I locked the door behind me. In the drive way was an old styled camero. It was a dark blue with two white racer stripes that went along the front of the car to the back. "Nice car" I said observing it, I had always had a thing for older cars. They just had so much history behind them and were vintage. It had a couple scratches here and there but no serious damage. "Yeah it was Stevan's dads" Kirsten agreed.

     "Hey newbie" Stevan greeted from the drivers seat, I smiled. Stevan was the first person I met and had blonde hair, not as light as Kirstens, his was darker and if it went striaght down instead of the to the side it would come over it's eyes. In the passenger seat was Amber's twin brother who seemed to be the opposite of her. He was more quite and too himself than the others. He just gave me a friendly nod. "Good to see you again" Amber said smiling "Yeah we were afraid you would come to your senses and ditch this small town" Stephan laughed "I like it here" I said softly smiling at the thought of Jacob and my sisters new family.

        I don't know how we did it but in Stevans old camero we fit three people in what little back seat it had with the two boys sitting up front. "So were are we headed?" I asked curiously "Just to a little shopping center a few blocks away" Amber answered as she looked through one of the books that was sitting on the floor of the back seat. "I didn't know you liked Harry Potter Stevan" Amber said smiling "Hey it's awesome ok!" he defended and turned his head to face her while smiling "I second that" Kirsten giggled "Do you like Harry Potter Megan?" Stevan asked looking at me through the rear view mirror "I haven't really read the books but I love the movies" I admitted "I know right! And the guy who plays Draco Malfoy is totally hot" Amber said smiling "Eww no he's not Ron is way hotter" Kirsten argued "No way Harry is so much hotter" Stevan said in a really high, fake girly voice, we all stared at him, even Adam. "What? I thought I would play along" he said inocently, we all burst out in laughter. "Right you were just 'playing along'" Adam joked, Stevan gave him a playful punch in the arm.

    It wasn't much longer before we parked at one of the stores in the shopping center. We all shuffled out of the car and started walking.

      After about an hour and a half of walking around and going into random stores we were starting to get tired. None of us had really gotten anything besides Kirsten who just got a bag of gummy worms that were at a candy shop. "Who's up for ice cream?" Stevan asked as we were reaching an ice cream shop. "Oooh me!" Kirsten shouted excitedly as she ate her last gummy worm. After the fifth piece she became a little hyper. "Are you sure you want more sugar your kind of-" Adam started but got cutt off "I'll have mint chocolate chip please" she told the person at the stand. "Never mind then" Adam laughed quitely "Ok.. Anyone else?" Stevan offered "I'll take a small chocolate cone" I said shrugging, he smiled and nodded "Amber?" he asked "Nah I'm good" she told him "I guess you don't want any either than?" he guessed turning to look at Adam, who just shook his head "Ok then I'll have a cookie dough" he told the worker.

     After eating ice cream and watching Kirsten spill hers we were all ready to go home. "I miss my ice cream" Kirsten pouted "It's ok you didn't really need the sugar anyway" Adam comforted, Kirsten just shrugged. We all piled into the car and we were dropping off Kirsten first before she had a sugar attack. "I had so much fun today" she said really fast "I'm so glad we got to know you better Megan! We should all get together again sometime" It was hard to understand what she was saying but I got a few words, enough to see what she meant though. "Thanks, today was fun" I agreed smiling "Yeah it was!" Stevan boomed. We drove up Kirstens drive way and the house was dark brown with a black double doors. "See you guys later!" she said crawling over Amber to get out of the door. "Talk about a sugar rush" Amber laughed.

     We drove up to my house next and I hugged Amber and said goodbye to the boys. I smiled as I got out of the car and started walking up the driveway "Wait!" Amber called getting out of the car and running towards me "Is it ok if I stay at your house for like an hour? Just until my mom picks me up? Adams going to Stevan's house and I would rather not hang with just them for an hour" she laughed at the end. I thought for a minute, surely Charlie won't mind, he probably won't even be home in time to see her. "Yeah that's fine" I said smiling as I showed her inside the house.

     I  put my stuff on the kitchen table and she walked inside the living room "Who is this?" she asked as she picked up a photo frame. I looked at the picture, it was a picture of Bella and I in front of the house smiling. "That's my sister, Bella" I said smiling at the photo. "Does she live around here?" she asked curiously "Yeah, she just got married and they live out in the woods" Not to mention she had a baby I thought to myself "That's so cool!" She said grinning at me.

    We were both sitting on the couch watching some show on Mtv "Hey I think Stevan might have a crush on you" She giggled, I looked at her "Really? I'm kind of already with someone" More like inlove I smiled to myself "Ohh really?" she said with a knowing smile, I blushed "Whats he like?" She wondered "He's nice, cute, charming, adventurous and sweet" I said quitely more to myself than Amber. Then there was a knock at my door. "I'll be right back" I said walking towards the door "Ok" she said and continued reading the book she got from Stevan's car.

     I opened the door and saw Jacob "Hey" I smiled "Hey" he grinned but the grin turned into a mad and worried look "What's wrong?" I asked more serious, he then pulled me out of the house and quickley shut the door "What are you doing hanging out with a vampire?" he said in a low whisper "What?" but before he could answer my front door opened "Is everything ok?" she asked but she looked like she already knew, then she plugged her noes "What the hell is that smell?" she asked in disguist. Jacob growled at her. Will so much for normal friends.
