Song: Hold onto the memories by Corey Tynan

I sat on the park bench in silence. I could feel the tears filling my eyes but I held them in. "But it feels like I just got here and we were finally in the same state again" I said without glancing at Bella. "I know" she sighed. "Maybe I could go with you" I started "Maybe I could tell Charlie that it would bring new opportunities" I started babbling but Bella cut me off "Megan, your place is here with Charlie and Jacob and the rest of his pack. You've just made new friends and Charlie isn't ready to see both of his daughters go" I sighed, not because I was mad at her for dismissing my idea but because I knew she was right. There was just a feeling inside of me that told me I belonged here and Bella belonged wherever the Cullens where going to be.

"Its not like we won't ever see eachother, we can skype every night and talk on the phone and you and Jacob will always be welcomed to visit" her voice chimed with hope. "Yeah I guess" I shrugged.

As the days progressed I felt better about Bella leaving. I wasn't entirely happy about it but I felt less empty as I spent more time with Jacob and his new pack.

The worst thing about it was that vampires tend to be very fast packers. The whole house was packed in a matter of days and the pack fell a little differently than I did about the Cullens move.

Jacob felt relieved "Less people to worry about and besides now we can hunt vampires easily since the air won't be polluted with their stinch" he stated "It's about time they leave" Leah grumbled when she heard the news. It seemed like the only person who would really miss the Cullens was Seth.

"I don't think I'm going to go to school on reservation anymore" Seth told me as we were haning out at my house. "Why?" I asked in curiosity "The regular high school has cuter girls" he joked, I rolled his eyes "Ok how about the real reason" I suggested "I just think it would be fun to go to a different high school" he shrugged, I could tell there was more but he didn't want to talk about it anymore. "Is it me or is Charlie always 'working'?" Seth asked using hand gestures on 'working' "I don't know maybe there's a lot of crime" He laughed "In Forks? I don't think so" I glared at him "What do you think he's doing?" he shrugged "Maybe he's a secret angent for the CIA" he wondered "I highly doubt that" I said rolling my eyes "Ok then how much you wanna bet he's not at the office?" he asked raising his eyebrows "I'm not betting but we can see" I said grabbing my jacket.

We went outside and started walking to the police station. Once we got there we went straight to the front desk. "Hello Megan how are you?" she asked. Most people at the station reconised me as Bella's sister. "I'm fine. Is my dad here?" I asked politely, she hesitated before answering "No he took off work today" I looked at her puzzled as Seth gave me a 'I told you so' look. "Are you sure he's not just out?" I asked, she shook her head "sorry hun but he's not working today" I walked out of the office after telling her goodbye and started walking back home "I told you he wasn't working that late at night" I glared at him and he put his hands up in surrender, he reminds me alot of Jacob.

As we were walking by the little town center of Forks something caught my eye. "Oh my god" I muttered as I stopped dead in my tracks. "What?" Seth asked in alarm. I didn't answer right away "What is it?" he asked more paniced, I pointed to a window of a resturaunt near by. Sitting at a table was a middle aged women with blonde hair and pink, glossy lips who looked like one of those women who tried to stay young and bought designer shoes with no other than Charlie. "Well don't stare!" Seth said pulling me behind a bush. "Was he on a date?" I wondered out loud "Maybe he was just interviewing her or she's just a friend" Seth suggested "He was holding her hand across the table" I muttered, He stayed silent. "I can't believe he didn't tell me that he was dating someone" I said to myself in disbelief. "She doesn't really look like his type" Seth commented.

"Are you ok?" he asked me when we got home. "Yeah, I think its fine if he's dating I mean Mom's remarried but I don't get why he didn't tell me" I frowned "Maybe he didn't think you were ready" Seth said trying to comfort me but I didn't need comforting, I needed the truth.

A couple of hours later Charlie got home expecting me to be asleep but instead I was wide awake and sitting on the couch. "Hey Meg what are you doing still up?" he asked kind of shocked "Couldn't sleeep, why are you not in your uniform?" I asked innocently, He sighed "I have to tell you something" he started "I'd say you do" he raised his eyebrows "Excuse me" he said waiting for me to explain "I saw you at that resturant with that girl" I said in monotone "That 'Girl' is named Susan and I was going to tell you" I looked at him "When? At your wedding?" I asked sarcastically "Oh come one Megan don't make a big deal out of it and Its my choice when to tell you" I wasn't mad at Charlie but with everything going on I guess I needed to blow some steam "Did it ever occur to you on how I feel? Not to mention you lied to me all those times you were 'working late'" I said a bit harsh. "Of course I care about how you feel and I shouldn't have lied to you" "Well you were working alright" I said sarcastically "Watch the attitude and don't talk about Susan disrespectfully when you don't even know her" I hated when Charlie got all 'strict parent' on me "Its not like I have to know her to know she's a slut!" I yelled and ran up stairs "We will talk about this tommorow!" he yelled after me.

The next morning I woke up early to talk to Charlie "I'm sorry for last night, I was tired and I guess Bella moving away has put stress on my mind and I needed to take it out on someone" I confessed "I'm sorry for lieing to you and not saying anything sooner" Charlie admitted "Listen Meg, I'm not the happiest person about Bella moving across the ocean either but she's an adult now and has her own family that she has to be there for" He told me and the more I thought about it, the more I know its true. "Your right, we all are going down our own paths right now and we're all going to have to accept it" I relised. "It was very mature of you to come and apoligize but your still grounded" he told me after awhile "I thought so" I laughed.

A couple days later was the moving day for the Cullens. "Do you have everything?" I asked Bella as Edward and Jacob helped pack the last of the boxes into the moving truck "I'm sure, half that truck is mostly Alice's wadrobe" she laughed "I'm going to miss you so much" I told her hugging her tightly "Me to little sis" Edward and Jacob came and met us "Finally leaving are you?" Jacob joked, Bella shook her head and laughed and gave Jacob a hug, even Edward and Jacob said their goodbyes by shaking hands. I gave the rest of the Cullens a hug and gave Edward a hug and kiss on the cheek "Make sure and visit soon" he told me "I promise I well" I assured him. I gave Renesmee one last squeez before handing her over to Bella and watching the cars drive away in the distance with tears in my eyes. "I think I'm actually going to miss them not being around annoying everybody" Jacob admitted as he put his arm around me. "I know I well" I said.

We walked up to the Cullens house for what seemed to be the last time. I looked around the empty house, it looked just like the house I had drempt of when the Voltri came. It wasn't the Cullen house anymore. The tables weren't decorated with vibrant flowers in neat vases, there wasn't a glow and loving vibe around the house, it was just an empty place that would be filled with memories. We walked out of the house and closed the door behind us, leaving the house that was no longer a home and passing the 'For Sale' sign.

We drove up to Jacobs house as the aroma of barbique filled the air. The pack was having a cook out to celebrate unity. Everyone was there, the elderly sitting on the porch in rocking chairs, the kids playing in the front lawn, the pack throwing a football and tackling eachother. I was standing on the front of the porch with my ice tea that I had made and staring down at the scene when Jacob came up behind me. "Having a good time?" He asked after kissing me lightly on the lips "A great time" I replied with a smile "Have you heard from the Cold ones?" he asked jokingly, I rolled my eyes "Yes there all settled down in Alaska and according to Bella its beautiful there" I said watching the kids play tag "Well I this is better" He said wrapping his arm around my waist, I turned and looked at him "I couldn't agree more" I smiled.
