Chapter 13- Balancing good with bad

A.N: Yay! another chapter =D just so you guys no I will never ever ever stop writing this story until its finished and completed =) and even then there might be sequels!           Amber glared at him "Your dating a werewolf?" she sneered, not taking her eyes off Jacob. "Shape shifter" Jacob and I corrected at the same time but his was with venom. "Whatever" she muttered "A dog is a dog" she sputtered, I could feel Jacob getting angry and if it got worst it might turn into a fight, and I wasn't going to let that happen. "Ok guys lets just take a deep breath" I said trying to calm them down but I just sounded like a lame thereapist. "Charlie might be back at any minute and I don't think it's a good idea if he comes home to a shape shifter and an unaturally strong..being" I had to admit I didn't get what I was trying to say. "I just don't get why the pack didn't know of other vampires, we have enough as it is" he said sarcastically, "There's more of you?" she asked in disguist "Yup, a whole pack" Jacob said smirking "Err two packs" he said mostly to himself. "Two packs? And there's more vampires?" she asked looking at me curiously, I nodded my head "My sister and her husbands family" I said softly, she smiled. After a few moments of silence Amber broke it "Listen, I'm no harm to anyone ok? You think I chose to be like this?" She announced "You better be harmless" Jacob threatened, Amber rolled her eyes "I wouldn't even hurt a fly" she said flashing him a sweet and innocent smile, he was still glaring at her though.

        Amber left after that and Jacob and I were haning out in the dinning room. "We should do something today" Jacob said suddenly "Ok what do you have in mind?" I asked in curosity but just when he was about to answer the phone rang. He sighed as if he didn't want me to answer "I have to it might be Charlie" I told him as I got up and answered the phone. "Hello?" I answered "Hey Megan it's Bella" my smile widened "Hey whats up?" I asked "Well you know how we were talking about you comming over?" she mentioned "Yeah?" I grinned "Can you and Jacob come over today?" she asked hopeful, "Of course" I laughed "Ok see you then" she said and hanged up. I was so excited! I was finally going to see my sister for myself after what seemed like forever, not to mention my niece who hopefully wasn't out of control. I looked over at Jacob "You want to go over to the Cullens?" I tried to ask casually "Whats more fun then going to a house full of vampires?" he mumbled sarcastically, I rolled my eyes "Come on Jacob she's still your friend and my sister, I can't just live the rest of my life without seeing her" I reminded him, he looked at me more seriously "She's still a new vampire, completely unpredictable and she doesn't have all this control that all of you think she has" he warned "I know Bella, she wouldn't invite me over if she didn't think it was safe" I reassured him.

       I eventually persuaded Jacob to come with me, I was going whether or not he was going so he didn't really have a choice. I could feel knots in my stomache starting to form. What if she was way different? Would I even be able to reconise her? Would being a mother completely change her? All of these questions stirred in my head and made me more and more nervous. Of course I wanted to see her, I just didn't know what to expect.

      We finally got to the Cullens house and walked right up to the door. Before any one of us could knock, the door opened. "Good to see you again Megan" Edward said in a formal voice. Jacob rolled his eyes slightly "And you to Jacob" Edward said nicely "Yeah just awesome" Jacob muttered sarcastically, I elbowed him in the stomache softly, I knew he probably couldn't even feel anything but hopefully I made a point. Jacob, however looked uneffected, probobly on purpose. Edward grunted and Jacob and I walked into the familiar house. I breathed in the familair scents and smiled at the family I missed. Alice came up to us swiftly and hugged me tightly "I missed you" she grinned "I missed you to" I said hugging her back. Esme then came and also gave me a hug "Good to have you both around again" she said to Jacob and I politely, Carlisle came up behind her "I agree" he stated proffesionally. Emment came up and gave me a big bear hug "Long time no see" he grunted "Ok I'm having a hard time breathing" I said laughing, he let go and smiled. Jacob just seemed annoyed. "Bella will come down with Renesmee shortly" she assured me. I nodded.

       A person then came down the stairs with a little girl who looked about two or three years old. "Ah there you are Bella" Carlisle smiled . I looked at the women walking towards us more closely. She was Bella. She didn't look like the older sister I had. She had paler skin, if that was even possible, and her hair was shinier, not to mention her eyes were a mix between red and hazel. "Megan" she exclaimed and gave me a hug. She even smelled different. "I missed you" she said softly as she pulled back. Her voice had even changed, more calm and relaxed. "Hi Bella, you look" I paused searching for the right words "Different" she sighed "I know, it takes some getting use to."

       The little girl who was following her looked up at me with her big brown eyes, the eyes that Bella and I shared. I smiled at her. "Renesmee this is your aunt Megan" Bella murmered to her softly. Renesmee smiled and put a hand on Bella's cheek. "Yes she was here when you were born" Bella approved. I looked at her curiously. Bella smiled "It's her gift" she said proudly "She can express herself by putting a hand on your cheek and showing you memories or what she wants." Bella explained, I nodded still a little confused "Wow I thought you just gave birth to her a few months ago, she looks like she's two years old" I said kneeling down so I was face to face with Renesmee and smiled at my little niece. Bella frowned "She's the only vampire hybrid we know of, she gets older and older everyday" Bella said concerned, "I'm sure she'll be just fine" I reassured her. Rennesmee put her hand on my cheek.

      Rennesmee showed me the day she was born, Rosalie cradling her. She then showed me how over the months she has grown. She seemed excited about growing so fast. She showed me Edward and Bella playing with her outside and Emment showing her how to high five. I smiled when she was done. Even though I had hardly known her, she seemed to know me. I don't know if it was because Bella told her about me or because Renesmee was so much smarter than the normal toddler, simply because she wasn't normal. I stood up slowly and smiled at Bella. Renesmee looked up at me and stretched her arms up and I looked at Bella. "She wants you to hold her" Bella explained smiling, I smiled down at the little girl and gently picked her up. I could feel Jacob watching Renesmee and I very carefully. "This is Jacob" I told her gently, despite the fact that Jacob wasn't fond of Renesmee, he couldn't help but smile at the little girl. I knew that Jacobs opinion about Renesmee would change.

      We were all sitting on the Culens house, I sat between Bella and Jacob with Renesmee sitting on my lap. "What are we going to do about Charlie?" I asked to no one in particular. "I say we tell them Bella got kidnapped by aliens and they transformed her into one of their own" Emment told us, we all looked at him "What?" he asked shrugging, I laughed. "Why don't we tell him the truth?" Jacob added "You mean that his daughter married a vampire and they now have a vampire hybrid that ages quickly? What can go wrong?" Rosalie snapped "Wow cool it blondie, wouldn't want your horns to come out" Jacob said sarcastically, Rosalie glared at him. "I think I like the Alien story better" Bella admitted, trying to stop Rosalie and Jacob. "It's actually not a bad idea" I said thinking it over "The alien story?" Alice asked in disbelief, I rolled my eyes "No, what if we didn't tell Charlie anything. We just invite him over and let him believe what he wants?" I suggested. Everyone exchanged looks with eachother. "That might work" Carlisle said thoughtfully, I smiled.

           Alice's face suddenly went blank. "Alice?" Jasper asked concerned, Edwards face flashed with worry. "Well that can't be good" Jacob sighed, Bella turned to Edward "What is it?" she asked worriedly but there was no answer. Alice then looked at Bella "The voltri" she muttered and at those words Bella's face dropped and her eyes grew big. "What do they want?" she asked rather quickley "They think we turned Renesmee" Edward uttered "Wait I'm confused, as always" I sighed "Who are the Voltri?" I asked turning to Bella and Edward. "They inforce certian rules" Edward said more seriously "Vampires have rules?" I asked "Yes, and one of them is you can't turn a child" Edward explained "What do they do if you break a rule?" I asked alarmed "They get rid of you" he said simply. I couldn't believe it. It seemed that no matter how good things seem something has to go along and balance the good out and this time it might actually take our lives.
