Chapter 14- Family

       We all sat in the Cullens living room in silence. "What do we do?" Emmett asked looking around the room, it was the first time I have ever seen him act more seriously. "How about we fight them?" Jacob said as if it was obvious "That would be impossible, they have far to many talented gifts and are well trained and the most powerful coven" Carlisle explained "There has to be something we can do besides sit here and wait for them to kill us" feared looking around the room, everyone looked at each other thinking of ideas. "Maybe we could get an army of vampires big enough to fight the Voltri" Emmett suggested, Carlisle shook his head "The Voltri has been in power for centries, no vampire well be willing to put their life on the line" he objected "What if we didn't fight them?" Edward suggested, everyone looked at him questionly "We could ask other covens from around the world to just listen to us and let Renesmee touch them, then they will know we are inocent and they can be witnesses" Carlisle thought about it for a moment "There would have to be quite alot of them" he added "We could ask the Denali Coven" Esme suggested "Let me get this straight, you want a whole bunch of vampires to come to Forks?" Jacob asked annoyed "Do you have a better idea?" Rosalie snapped, Jacob glared at her "Something has to be better than a bunch of wild vampires roaming around Forks" he uttered "They won't be roaming around, they will be here and we will make sure they stay under control" Carlisle reasured him "You better" Jacob threatened.

     I could feel Renesmee squirming in my arms, She looked at everyone as if she knew something was wrong. "It's ok" I comforted her but she didn't seem convinced. "Why don't we go play outside?" Bella asked softly to Renesmee, who was excited by the idea.

     We were all outside, Rosalie, Esme and Carlisle were sitting under a tree talking. "Hey Bella I bet I can beat you at arm wrestling" Emmett challenged grinning at Bella, "Uh no thanks" She laughed "Oh come on Bella you can take him" I said nudging her playfully "Renesmee what do you think?" I said smilling at the little girl standing by a tree near by, she grinned and nodded her head, Bella smiled "Alright fine" she said walking towards a rock with Emment not too far behind her. Jacob chuckled "I would love to see Emment get beat by a girl" He grunted "No way is that going to happen" Emment roared. Carlisle, Rosalie and Esme walked over to us to.

   "On the count of three" Carlisle declared "1 2 3!" we all shouted. For a while Emmett and Bella were even but Bella was slightly winning. Emment was struggling but Bella managed to pin his arm down on the rock, which smashed into pieces. Edward and Jacob chuckled as Emment pouted "I want a rematch" Emment demanded "Nope" Bella said smiling.

   Renesmee seemed just as happy. She was giggling as Bella and Edward played around with her. I watched them happily and knew that no matter what happened, I would do anything I could to keep my family safe, all of it.

       The day seemed to pass by all to quickly and it was suddenly dark outside. "I better get going before Charlie gets worried" I said giving Renesmee one last hug. Bella frowned "Can you come over tommorow?" She asked, I smiled "Of course."

      I spent the next few days over at the Cullens getting to know my niece better but in those few days Alice seemed to disapear and so did Jasper. At first we thought that she was in danger but we doubted it. We would hate to ever admit it but some of us thought that she had joined the Voltri. I find it hard to believe she would ever abandon her family. The Cullens split up looking for different Covens to be their witnesses for Renesmee. Renesmee seemed to charm them and some loved her from the start where as others had to see for themselves.

      Jacob and I had just gotten to the house when Jacob paused. "Whats wrong?" I asked him confused "Vampires" he muttered. I didn't understand what he was talking about until Edward opened the door. In the Cullens house were vampires I have never ment. I looked at Edward questionly "Witnesses" he whispered, I nodded my head in understandment. I looked around the room and reconised a couple of vampires that were from the wedding. "They are the Denali coven" Edward told me looking at them and smiling. Standing by a window were three women, all strikingly beuatiful. Two of them had blonde hair and the other one had dark brown.

    "Megan I want you to meet Kate" Edward introduced, one of the blonde girls smiled at me "She has the ability to send shock waves just by touching someone" Kate smiled proudly. I could feel my heart beating a little faster "Don't worry I only do that if someone gets on my nerves" she whispered still smiling "Good to know" I said akwardly, Edward grunted and I gave him a look and silently told him I don't enjoy people reading my mind. "This is Carmen" the brunette women smiled "Hello" she said politely and shook my hand "And Tanya" the last blonde girl also smiled. "They are the only vegetarian vampires along with us" Edward added.

     I looked around the house until I spotted Bella. I made my way through the living room to the kitchen where Bella was with Jacob protectively beside me. I couldn't help but notice how the vampires where glaring at Jacob. When we got to Bella she smiled at me "Hey Megan" I smiled back and Renesmee smiled at me from a womens or vampires arms. "This is Zafrina, she's from the Amazon Coven" Bella said smiling at Zafrina and Renesmee. Zafrina was rather tall and wore an animal skin dress and had dark brown hair and her skin was very tan for a vampire. I smiled at her. Renesmee reached her hands out to me and Zafrina chuckled and handed her to me, Renesmee giggled and put one hand on my cheek. I saw a rainforest, and many butterflies flying in the air. After Renesmee was done showing me the pretty pictures I looked at Bella and Zafrina laughed "She must have showed you the Images" Renesmee grinned up at me "Images?" Zafrina nodded "I have the ability of Visual projection which means I can show you pictures Bella has been monitering them so I won't show anything graphic" She explained glancing at Bella "I wouldn't do that to my little buddy though" she said grinning at Renesmee.

    Jacob was silent for awhile and clearly uncomfortable with all of the unfamilair vampires and I have to admit I wasn't at ease either. Most of the vampires where used to human blood and didn't know how to control themselves as well as the Cullens. "How about we ditch this place and go see a movie" Jacob asked I smiled "I'm in, let me just say by to Bella, Renesmee and Edward" he playfully rolled his eyes and I started walking towards Bella until I reached her "Hey Jacob and I are going to the movies" I told her as Renesmee played around with a few vampires "Ok I'll see you later" she said while hugging me, I smiled at her and said goodbye to Edward and the rest of the Cullens and Jacob and I went to the movie theatre.

       Jacob of course picked a movie with a ton of action and afterwards drove me home. "I'll see you tommorow" I said as he walked me to the door "Yes you will" he grinned and bent down and kissed me. Whenever he kisses me or even touches me it's like a wild fire of sparks spread to every part of my body. I know this is a little cheesey but it feels like electricity. I smiled and opened the door and walked in.
