Chapter 17- Joy ride

Its been too long since I updated! And for that I am truely sorry but I got caught up in school :( I must say i'm quit dedicated to drama so yeah :) Have any of you heard of Sweeney Todd? Have you read/seen the play? What about the movie? I love the movie with Johnny Depp in it :D Please tell me if you've seen it and your thoughts on it in the comments or you can PM me :D Sorry for the babbling

    When I put my hands on Aro he gently closed his eyes. After a couple of moments he gently let go of my hand and smiled "You speak the truth" he said adressing to us all and then looked back at me "If you were to change your mind, we would be glad to have you become apart of our" he paused searching for the right words "Community" he spoke, Jacob grunted, I smiled politly "Thank you for offering but I'm not going to change my mind" I said as carefully as I could, Aro grinned "I know" he admitted "Just incase" then he turned to the rest of the Voltri "Come, there is nothing for us here" he said as he swiftly walked out the door, the rest followed exept for Jane who slowly turned around and smirked at me, and then followed the rest out.

As I saw the Voltri eave I couldn't help but sigh in relief. Maybe now everything can return to the way it was, no drama, no trouble, just a family.

   I turned back towards the Cullens and relised Alice and Jasper where standing there next to Bella and Edward. They must have been there the whole time I just didn't notice it because of everything that was going on. "Alice! Jasper!" I exclaimed in excitement as I gave both of them a giant hug. "We missed you to" Alice laughed.

  "I can't believe it's finally over" Bella grinned along with Edward after they put Renesmee down for a nap. "I have to admit this was pretty fun, maybe we can start another fight with someone?" Jacob laughed as we were both sitting on the Cullens couch, I playfully hit him "Maybe on your own time" I joked.

   "I should go talk to Leah and Seth" Jacob told us as he got up from the couch "I'll go with you, I need to go home and see Charlie anyway" I admitted as I got off of the couch with him and hugged everyone goodbye.

   Jacob and I walked towards the woods since Leah still refused to go inside. In a matter of seconds you could see Leah and Seth making their way to us, Seth leading of course. "Is it over?" Leah asked sounding as if she could care less "Yeah the blood suckers left" Jacob confirmed "Oh you mean the Cullens finally moved?" she asked sarcastically, both Jacob and I rolled our eyes but ignored her. "Did we do a good job?" Seth asked eagerly, Jacob chuckled "Yeah kid, we did good" he said while ruffling his hair. I just watched them not wanting to interupt their moment but I cleared my throat "I have to get going, Charlie's probably waiting up on me" Jacob turned to face me "Wanna ride?" he asked with daring smirk "I thought you got here by shifting?" I asked confused, he just smiled and shook his head, took my hand and started walking towards the Cullens garage.

  "What are you doing?" I laughed, he nodded towards a black motorcycle. "There is no way I'm riding that" I stated eyeing the bike "Oh come on it'll be fun" I looked between him and the bike. On one hand, you only live once and I have to admit it did look kind of cool. "I promise it's totally safe" He assured me walking towards the motorcycle "Well..." I dragged out "OK fine" I said rolling my eyes. He sat on the motorcycle and motioned for me to sit behind him as he gave me one of the helmets "Hold on tight" he said through his perfect smile. I thought he was joking at first but as he started the bike I hanged on to his waist for dear life.

  At first I could barely open my eyes, everything that we passed was just a blur but as the ride continued I began to open them and when I did it was pretty awesome. I felt as if I where flying and Jacob being there with me felt safe, secure and right.

   Sadly our ride came to a stop when we got to my house. I took off the helmet and ran my fingers through my hair before I got off. "Was that so bad?" he teased as he wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine loosley around his neck "Not bad at all it was actually kind of fun" I admitted, he smirked "I knew you would like it" I smiled and rolled my eyes as he leaned in for a kiss but before our lips met Charlie loudly opened the door "Good to see that your home" he said akwardly, Jacob and I instantly pulled apart "Yeah dad" I said while I started walking towards my front door "I'll see you later" I told Jacob before I went into the house.

     "So did you have fun at your friends house?" Charlie asked me as he started nonchalantly cleaning dishes when the dishes were already clean in the first place. "It was fine" I said looking at papers that must have come in the mail today. After a few moments of silence he looked up at me "So your with that Jacob kid now?" he tried to ask casually "Uh yeah kind of" he nodded. I figured Charlie already knew Billy so what was there to discuss? "Does Bella know?" he asked. I looked at him confused. Why did it matter if Bella knew? "Yeah she knows" I told him, he nodded. After a couple of minutes our home phone rang and Charlie answered it. While he was on the phone I took a water bottle out of the refrigerator.

Meanwhile......(No POV)

  Jacob was in his garage fixing up his car that he had been working on for a while when Seth and Leah came over, Jacob sighed for he wanted some time alone.

    "So Jacob how do you feel being the alpha now?" Seth asked excitedly "What?" Jacob asked clearing his throat "He said how does it feel to be..." Leah started in annoyence but Jacob cutt her off "I know what he said" Jacob sputtered "But I'm not an alpha and this isn't a pack" he said rather quickly. "Ok Jacob, I don't like you and I hate the fact that you risked our lifes protecting the Cullens but your a much better leader than Sam could ever dream to be" she told him seriously "Yeah Jacob and I know for a fact if we did become a pack Embry and Quil would join us" Seth said hopefully "I don't know" Jacob said thinking. He had never really thought of himself as an alpha but he didn't like the sound of so much responceability and the life on his hands.

Megans POV

    "Who was that?" I asked after Charlie was done talking on the phone "It was the station" He told me as he walked towards the living room "What did they say?" I wondered "They needed an extra officer on duty but I turned them down" He said as he turned the t.v on, probably a sign that he wanted the conversation to end "Why didn't you go in?" I asked as I through the empty water bottle away "I've spent way to many nights at work and it's not good to leave you at home alone as often as I do" he admitted "Dad I'm almost sixteen" I told him "Don't remind me" he muttered, I smiled and walked over and gave him a hug "I'm going to go to bed early" and with that I went up stairs to my room.

   I was reading the play version of 'Sweeney Todd' when all of the sudden Jacob climbed through my window. "Jacob what are you doing here?" I asked startled "I need to talk to you" He replied "What if Charlie catches you?" I asked seriously "He won't, he's busy watching the football game" he told me as he sat on the bed next to me "Whats on your mind?" I asked him.

   "Leah and Seth want me to become their alpha and make a pack of my own" he sighed "And whats wrong with that? You'd make a great alpha" I said smiling "Yeah but there would be two packs in Forks" he sighed "Two totally different packs that believe in different methods and ways" I added "What about the responcibility? Someones life would be in my hands" he said worriedly "Isn't being an alpha in your blood? Your a natural" I assured him, he smiled and softly kissed me "You know what? Your right, I am a natural" he said kissing me again. Next thing I knew I was fast asleep in Jacob's arms.
