Haru sighed as he sat back down at the table where Cici and I sat. "So... What do you want to know first?" He asked me. I could barely grasp my head around everything that happened. I recounted the events in my head before asking him anything.
"Ok... first of all, are you hurt?" I asked him.
"Well... mostly." He answered while looking at his stomach. There was a stain of blood on his clothes. "But it's nothing fatal. Just a small cut." Well, it's more than just some scratch, but he was right that it's not an extreme wound.
"And who was that woman that showed up out of nowhere." I asked. Haru sighed after that, like he regretted me having to see any of that.
"Vex... my sister." He answered looking down, but still remaining eye contact.
"Ok. Sorry if I sound rude when I say this but, what is she?" I tried to ask as polite as possible. I looked over at Cici who was sipping her soda looking pleased with herself. "And how does Cici know about all of this?" She put down her drink and laughed a little.
"Because I'm a reaper, you know those skeleton guys that wear hoods and kill people for no reason. Yeah one of those." She smiled an evil grin and looked at me. "Speaking of which, I think that I can't let you live after you saw all of that."
If I wasn't scared before. I was terrified now.
"Cici, that's enough. He's seen enough shit for one day." Haru said protectively. Cici grabbed her drink and sipped it while Haru sighed.
"Anyway, Vex is a demon. A succubus to be exact, and it's not rude to ask a question like that." He answered, trying to take attention away from Cici.
"Wait a minute... if Vex is your sister, and she's a demon, does that... make you..." I could barely even make out a sentence. Haru just looked down and nodded gently. I felt tears well within my eyes, almost every single nerve in my body told me to run.
"I'm an Incubus. I'm sorry that I never told you. I just tried to protect you from the fucked up shit that happens to me." I saw him grab his eyepatch and remove it. Under his eyepatch was his other eye, but instead of it being amber brown like the other one, this one was yellow. A yellow eye that resembled a cat's eye. "I never asked to be a demon... I just wanted to be human. I wanted to live like an actual person. Not staying in a single house as everyone torments me for being different." I saw a single tear slide down his cheek. I couldn't just do nothing here. Before he could react to anything I was doing, I jumped up from my chair and hugged him. He stood up from his chair and hugged me back.
"YES. YES. YES. FINALLY!!! Holy shit I waited so long for this. Where's my camera when I need it." I tried to ignore Cici who was extremely happy that we were able to express how we feel. At least I thought so... maybe she was just happy because she likes yaoi. One of those.
I saw Haru looking down at me (He was only a bit taller than me. My eyes reaching up to his shoulders.) as he held the back of my head. He was going to try to kiss me. I knew this, but I didn't know if I wanted to say stop, or to just let it happen. I just looked at his eyes. I saw his yellow eye faintly glowing. I heard Cici frantically say stop. Why is she saying stop? Why am I getting so sleepy? Why... is everything... so quiet..? I felt my eyes close and I heard Haru whisper something into my ear.
"I'm sorry... but I can't let you remember any of this... I need to protect you..." I felt his lips against mine as my vision faded to black.
