(Vivek gently made Pooja sit on the couch and sat beside her. He softly placed a hand on her head. Arya, Uncle, everyone had been worried ever since they entered. Seeing Pooja cry this much was making everyone anxious.)
Vivek: At least tell me what happened?
(Arya, who had been quietly watching Pooja, suddenly turned towards Prince. The look she gave him was enough to make him nervous.)
Arya: Did you guys fight again, huh Prince?
(Prince immediately shook his head.)
Prince: No, we didn't. Really.
Arya: Then what made her cry this much, Prince? What happened? Sit.
(She moved slightly and gestured for him to sit beside her. Prince nodded and quietly sat down.)
Vivek: Prince, kya hua? Is everything okay? Pooja, please tell us.
Pooja: Bhaiya... sorry.
Vivek: Huh? Why? Did you lose your shopping bags somewhere? Were you driving safely? (looking at Prince) Something happened on the road? You both are raising our blood pressure.
Pooja: No, bhai... we went for shopping in that market...
(She stuttered while speaking.)
Vivek: Calm down. I know that, Pooja. And then?
(Pooja lowered her eyes before glancing at Prince.)
Prince: Bhai... actually... can you please promise us that you won't get angry?
(Vivek now looked at prince with full attention... And asked suspiciously)
Vivek: God, Prince. Aisa kya kar diya tum dono ne ki mujhe gussa aa jaaye? Batao.
(With a lot of hesitation.. Finally he start to speak)
Prince: Bhai, after Pooja finished shopping, I wanted to drink some water because of the heat. And Pooja also wanted to use a washroom.
So there was a lodge near the market. Umm... cheap quality of course... but we went there so that Pooja could use the washroom and I could have some water.
Vivek: Hmm. So? What happened then?
Prince: Actually, there wasn't much hygiene there. Pooja refused to use the public washroom. And the passage was extremely hot, there wasn't even a fan.
So... when I saw the room price...
Arya: A room price?
(She blinked in disbelief.)
Arya: Wait. What do you mean? You booked a room in that lodge?
Vivek: What?
(Prince immediately shifted slightly away from Arya on the couch.to make safe distance)
Prince: Bhabhi... trust us please. We didn't do anything wrong there.
Arya: And who is doubting you?
(Her voice softened.)
Arya: We trust both of you. That's not the issue. But taking a room in that kind of cheap place
...
As a woman, I seriously disapprove of that decision.
Prince: Sorry...
But ham kya karte? Pooja ki ek friend bhi aane waali thi kuch material lene. Usko time lagne wala tha.
Ab utni der garmi mein wait karte? Mujhe laga room le lete hain. Pooja comfortable bhi rahegi aur kam se kam fan to hoga.
(Vivek listened quietly.)
