CHAPTER THIRTY TWO;;

"Victoria?"

The woman in front of me tilted her head to the side, showing mild surprise, "You know my name, I see. Zayn must have told you,"

"What do you want?" I asked, my tone was full of annoyance and anger.

Victoria laughed and it sounded like ice cubes tinkling in a glass, "I want Zayn,"

"I'm sorry but he isn't here. Maybe you should try again next time,"

"Funny," She rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I waited down the street for him to leave before knocking. But that's not what I meant when I said I wanted Zayn,"

"I know you were spying on me during the counselling sessions," I confronted her with all the confidence I could manage, making her raise an eyebrow at me.

"Is that all you know about me?" Her eyes were searching mine.

"You've been spying on me here too." I looked around the house and remembering every memory of the ski masked guy. "You ransacked my room. Followed me and Rose shopping and you were there the night you crashed my car and clawed me,"

"Smart one, you are. I'm surprised." She clapped her hands slowly, applauding me for finally figuring out it was her.

Victoria eyed me, waiting for me to say something at her comment but I kept my mouth sealed and keeping my body and mind composed.

"But this is the first time I've been to your house," She spoke up after a moment as she looked inside and traced her finger on the doorframe. "It's a nice a place,"

"Stop lying,"

"I didn't ransack your bedroom." She told me in harsh tone. "And yes, I did made you crash and followed you shopping. It's easy messing with your mind, just like how I messed with your friend's. You're both weak. I planted little hints in your friend's mind, making her think that Zayn hurt her. It was far fetched. He's not exactly harmless to begin with. It was in my best interest to make you as frightened as him as possible so that you will stay away from him. But even after all of that, you're still standing in our way,"

"Our way?" I scoff. "What's that suppose to mean? I'm not doing anything,"

"Why don't you invite me in, Amelia?" She suggested, standing directly in front of me that I could almost feel her breath on my skin. A menacing grin surfaced. "Then, we'll talk,"

"No," I say firmly. "Whatever it is you have to say to me, you can say it outside,"

Victoria face fell and she clenches her jaws as her eyes slowly turned into a pitch black colour just like Zayn's and how it was in his memory. She moved forward in an attempt to get inside, to get to me, but an invisible forcefield blocked her, making her tumble backwards.

My eyes grew wide. What Zayn said was true. Angels aren't able to enter unless I invited them in. But if she can't get in and says that she wasn't the one who ransacked my room and left a note saying to stay away from Zayn, then who did?

But at the back of my mind, I already knew.

"If you know who I am, then you know why I am doing all of this." She says, breathless as she paced back and forth outside.
