Chapter 7

*later that day*
Xman agreed to watch Brayden at the park while me and Lew hang out alone at my apartment. I decided we should put a movie on. He let me pick the movie, so I put a romantic movie on. I looked at him and gave him a kiss and he looks at me after that, turns my head and we start making out. Suddenly he lays down and pulls me on top of him so we're still making out and he makes a move, then I hear the door knob and I get off of his lap and we go back to watching the movie and my hand is in front of my face which is bright red by now when we see Xman with Brayden and Kimmy with him. Kimmy ran toward me and hugs me.. Xman knew what we were doing so he speaks up..

"Sorry, we're we interrupting?"

"Yes! I was trying to get laid!" Lew told Xman while laughing. My face turns even brighter red. I was blushing so bad.

"Woah.. What were you guys doing before we came in here?" Kimmy asked.

"Kissing." I told her. I look at Xman and he was looking at Lew with wide eyes. I quickly look at Lew and he's making inappropriate motions and movements while I wasn't looking. he's such a perv.. But he's my perv. "Lew!"

"What?" He was laughing so hard. he picked Brayden back up and held him in his arms. It's so cute to see him with Brayden.

"Nothing.. Never mind.." I replied.

"So hey guys.. Are we all in agreement that we keep ahold of Alexis from now on when someone is in a situation like me and Kimmy were?" Xman asked.

"Yes" Kimmy and Lew said together.

"Hey.. No. I wanna save my friends." I said.

"No, it's too dangerous" Lew told me.

"But.. But.." I tried to argue.

"No buts! It's too dangerous for you to do when you have a baby and a dog to take care of and you have us, if you were to die while trying to protect a friend we would miss you so much baby." He told me.

"I know boo. And I would miss you all too. And I felt bad about what happened today. When I jumped in front of the bullet and I was in the hospital and I could tell you were all sad and worried about me. But I'm fine. I promise all of you." I explained.

"Ok baby." Lew said.

*the next day*

I wake up to my phone vibrating, I must be getting a phone call. Oh, it's Lew!

Me: hey Boo.
Lew: hey baby. Did you sleep well?
Me: yea. For the few hours that Brayden let me sleep was pretty nice. What about you?
Lew: yea. I did. But, I called to tell you something.
Me: what is it?
Lew: today I won't be able to come over and I won't be able to talk on the phone or FaceTime. I'm going to a wedding reception, that's all we were invited to not the actual wedding, it's a family friend.
Me: oh ok. That's fine boo. I hope you have fun.
Lew: I will baby. I promise.
Me: when is it?
Lew: in an hour. The wedding starts in an hour. And once that's over, we're going to the reception and we're gonna be in the parking lot until the wedding is over because we're driving someone to the wedding and the reception.
Me: oh ok. I love you.
Lew: love you too baby.
Me: oh crap. Brayden's crying. *sound of Brayden crying in the next room* I'll put you on speakerphone so we can still talk if you want.
Lew: no, I have to go anyways. My mom and I have to find what I'm going to wear to the reception. Text me when you're done.
Me: ok boo. I love you. I'll talk to you later, bye.
Lew: I love you too baby. Talk to you later. Bye.

And I hung up and out my phone in my pocket, and I ran to Brayden. I picked him up and I sat in the rocking chair and I rocked him, he still wasn't calm so I put his favorite lullaby on and he stopped crying.

"See, you're ok Brayden. Yea, you're ok." I whispered to him. I kissed the top of his head gently.
