Chapter 9

-Heathers P.O.V.-
*at the start of their phone call*
Lew: hey baby
Me: hey boo, what's up?
Lew: nothing, just standing out by the car.
Me: cool. I thought you couldn't talk on the phone while you're there.
Lew: I'm not supposed to but I need to tell you something.

Oh crap. This might not be good...

Me: ok, what is it?
Lew: so... I was standing around and I was alone, and a girl comes up behind me and puts her hand on my shoulder and she started flirting with me. I told her I'm taken and she told me to dump you or cheat on you. And she tried to turn me against you by saying that I must not be important to you if you're to busy to come here with me but I didn't tell her about Brayden. so she doesn't know. But I didn't do anything bad I promise, Kalvin saved me he says he needed to talk to me outside and he questioned me about it.
Me: oh, ok.
Lew: so are you mad?
Me: not at you. What's this bitches name?
Lew: remember lisa from our school? The one that bullies you...
Me: it was that bitch?? Oh hell, she's going down! Bullying me? Ok. But Flirting with my boyfriend? Oh fuck no!
Lew: are you cussing like that around Brayden?
Me: no, he's at ambers moms house. She said she will watch him while I'm at work at Andys Furnature. So I'm on my way to work.
Lew: oh ok baby. Well I have to go now before my mom and dad realize I'm not there. Bye baby, love you.
Me: bye love you too.

As soon as he hung up, I called Andy to tell him something came up and I can't go into work today. Then I called Amber.

Me: hey Amber.
Amber: hey. What's up?
Me: I need to talk to you. Can you come over to the park? It's important.
Amber: sure. I'm on my way.
Me: ok. See you soon. Bye.
Amber: bye.

I hung up and I turned at the park and went to the picnic tables. Amber knows that when we meet here to go to the picnic tables. I was waiting there for her for about 10 minutes.

"Hey Heather." She said as she walked over to me.

"Hey amber" I replied.

"What did we need to talk about?"

"A girl was flirting with Lew at the wedding thing he went to today."

"Oh my gosh. Do you know who??"

"Lisa, from our school. The popular bitch that bullies me flirted with my boyfriend. She tried to get him to cheat on me or dump me."

"Oh hell no. She's going down"

"Yea. Up for beating some ass today?"

"Yes. But wait, do we know where she lives?"

"Yes. I know where she lives. She used to be my friend remember?"

"Oh yea. Ok. So let's go."

"Let's go."

It only took us about an hour to get to her house. The wedding reception was over and I knew she would be home by now. It's a nice house, as soon as we got there I saw Lisa getting out of her car. I was beyond pissed at her. She has a boyfriend and she goes and flirts with my boyfriend!

"Hey, Lisa!" Amber yelled. Lisa jumped. I'm sure we surprised her.

"What do you losers want?" She asked.

"Stay the hell away from Lew. He's mine and I don't share. Nothing and no one is gonna change that, especially some hoe." I told her.

"Oh look who is speaking up now." She teased me. "But he won't be yours for long. Soon he will realize that you're not good enough for him and he will come crawling back to me. he may have turned me down this time but let's face it, I am hotter than you and I can do anything he wants me to do for him, even stuff you can't or won't do." She flipped her hair over her shoulder and she turned around and walked into her house.

"Don't worry about her Heather, Lew loves you and he won't leave you for her." Amber told me. I wanted to cry but I don't cry in front of people, and I sure wasn't gonna cry anywhere that Lisa could see me. We were about 30 minutes from Lew's house and I was pretty sure they were there now. I decided to text Lew.

Me: Lew, can you please come over to my apartment?

So me and Amber walked back to my apartment while we waited for Lew to text back. I told Amber she should go back to her apartment and I asked her to watch Brayden for a few more hours. As soon as she left, I started crying. I pulled out my phone and I had a text.

Lew: on my way, be there soon.
Me: ok thanks. Because I'm crying and I really need a hug from you.
Lew: why are you crying?
Me: I'll explain when you get here.
Lew: ok. Almost there.
Me: ok. Doors unlocked.

So it took about 5 more minutes until he got here, but when he did he closed the door and ran over to me.

"Where's Brayden?" Lew asked.

"With Amber." I told him.

"Ok, now what's wrong? Why are you crying?"

"After you told me about what Lisa did, I walked over to Lisa's house and she had just gotten home and me and Amber yelled at her and told her to stay away from you."

"And what happened to make you cry baby?"

"She said that you will eventually realize that I'm not good enough for you and you will go running to her. and I know you're always saying that will never happen but just the thought that it might makes me cry."

"Oh I'm so sorry baby. But don't worry, I don't like her. She's a hoe and she bullies the girl I love."

"Thanks" I stopped crying soon after that. We cuddled for a few hours. Then he gets a phone call. I couldn't hear the other end, I could only hear Liam but whatever it was he didn't seem to want to do whatever they are asking or telling him to do.

-Lew's P.O.V.-
My phone rings, it's my mom. I get up and I answer it.

Me: hey
Mom: hi Lew
Me: what's up?
Mom: it's time for you to come home now.
Me: what? Can I stay here for a bit longer? Wait, can I stay the night here?
Mom: fine, but be good.
Me: thanks. Love you.
Mom: your welcome. Love you too.
Me: bye
Mom: bye

And with that, I hung up and went back to cuddling with Heather. It feels so nice to cuddle with her and to be alone with her without people commenting about how two teenagers shouldn't be laying on a couch together.
