Sam shifts bleakly in his place, attempting to finesse his way through the tremendous scheme. Wondering if Kai had experienced the same kind of ache in her gut he was feeling when she was forced to lie to them. Thinking of her back on the throne made him nerve-rackingly sick. And coming to terms with the fact that Cas is team "fulfill your destiny" wasn't helping. This wasn't right. In fact, everything was morbidly wrong.

"We need to talk." Dean tosses Baby's keys down on the pizza box.

"Okay?"

"Kyiah's gone." The words fall venomously from his lips. Watching his brothers face contort in angst.

"What?" He raises his posture, stiffening his voice. "What do you mean she's gone?"

"She called when you were out. She's going after Ocula." He lies, just like Castiel told him too.

"By herself?!" He stretches his lips, emphasizing his stressed expression.

"She said, that she had to stop running, to put an end to all this." Sam glances at his phone on the carpet. Tilting his position in hopes Dean hadn't seen it. Watching as he pulls out his own cell to call Kai. Getting nothing.

"Fuck!" Dean growls, hanging up. "Her phones off." His heart hit his chest with a feral thud, his head reeling. "And you didn't call me?" He puffs, bringing Sam to slightly lean his head.

"Would you have picked up?" He asks honestly. Getting his answer from the silence as Dean set his cell to his head.

"I shouldn't have left her.." He huffs, curling his right hand into a fist. "I shouldn't have just left her like that.."

"We'll go after her." Sam assures.

"What about Cas? Where the hell is he?" He bit his tongue in response to Dean's snarky retort.

"Don't know." He mumbled.

"Why the hell would he leave her?!" Dean groans, stopping when he realized he'd done just the same. Turning to grab his jacket of the kitchen chair.

"I don't know." Sam repeats. Feeling queasy over the whole situation. Observing Dean's frantic movements when he rotates to see Sam.

"Sammy." He doesn't respond, unable to speak up. "We gotta get her back."

"Than let's go." He gets out. And with those words, Dean was out the door. Leaving Sam to linger in the motel, putting a hand over his mouth in distress, before following his brother out the door.

Dean's withdrawals were getting more extreme. Feeling fatigued and dizzy over the fact he left her behind. That he certainly had, made the wrong choice. The one thing he was trying so hard to avoid. The Mark sunk it's claws deeper into Dean through his distress. Amplifying his every emotion. Sparking up at even the littlest things, fueling the disease..

The two race to the nearest airport.

Sam could see straight through Dean's hardly hidden state, only putting him through more of a guilt trip. There weren't many things that could make Dean get on a plane, but Kyiah was one of them. He white knuckled his way through the entire plane ride, almost never letting go of the arms of the chair. And to Sam's surprise he made it through the whole flight without ever needing a barf bag. After landing and grabbing a vehicle, the boys find the nearest hostel to stay the night. The room's light was dimmed in a way that touched the darkness of their reality, making the mood between them even more pronounced. Sam threw a duffle bag onto a bed, as Dean took off for the door.

"Dude, where are you going? It's almost midnight."

"To get a drink." He grumbled numbly. Shutting the door behind him. The only reason Sam didn't protest, was to make sure he had the privacy. Just incase Castiel shows up.
