When the Shadirians backs were turned, all us Ninja jumped through the gap Kai had created for us. The fall from the cage to the floor wasn't a big distance, so it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, once we landed on the dark, solid rock, Reanne and me stood together, and Kai, Zane, Jay and Cole stood just infront of them.

"Remember, fight shadows with shadows" She turned to us.

"Wow, is it that easy?" Everyone recognised to sarcasm in Jay's voice.

We all pulled over our hoods and our bandanas that covered our mouths and nose.

"Ninja..go!" We all silently spoke before turning into their Spinjitzu cyclone and spinning off; myself and Reanne one way, Zane, Cole, Kai and Jay another.

Reanne's dark purple tornado with black fog blended into the shadows; since it was her Element, my golden vortex..not so much. Neither did the others Spinjitzu tornados hide in the darkness..if fact, far from it.

They stood out like a orange in an apple tree.

Once me and Reanne had spun our way over to the far corner of the room behind a large rock, we crouched down behind it and waited for the others to get into position. Whilst we were waiting, we spied her second Elemental Blade, it was held by a large Shadirian with shining green eyes.

"Hey, Rea, why'd you have two blades?" The question had been on my mind, I decided now was the time to ask.

She shrugged "I don't know. I find it easier to fight I guess, not like I've done much of it in here, why'd you have two eyes?"

I scoffed "Why'd you have two ears?"

With that random conversation over, we went back to waiting in a comfortable silence. Reanne went back to peeking over the rock, seeing if there was anyway we could sneak over there without getting caught, get her Blade, then make the distraction. To no avail.

But that didn't stop her, she kept observing leaving me too..sit there and look aswell I presume. Well, I didn't. The only thing I was looking at was her. With the memory of her, us, everything we ever did, was fresh in my mind, I couldn't just let it go..haha..Frozen..No!

Me and her, we were something in the past. I wouldn't just let her slip away through my fingers like this. I loved her then, I loved her now. It was like she had never been gone..we, me and the Ninja, had never been gone. Reanne's eyes were slightly flickering around, I guessed she was just tense.

Whatever me and her was, we still could be. I recalled our dates (if you want to call them that, it was more just like to best friends hanging out, but it was amazing) together. Us, Lloyd and Reanne. It had a nice ring to it.

"You ever-" I began but was cut off by her.

"You ready?" Her voice was strong, focused.

"You betcha" I sighed in my head. We had to get of here. We weren't puppy lovers, we were Ninja, we have a job to do. I'll have to wait until later.

"Okay" She turned back around to leave, but then looked back ay me "Are you alright?"

"Fine, why wouldn't I be?" I defended, not wanted to make anything obvious.

She frowned "Sure? I'll help you" That line reminded me of the vision I had if Reanne in the field, I told her I'd help her.

"I'm sure, it's all good" I persuaded, and this time she stayed turned around.

Then, I noticed the other Ninja, they were behind the guards. Now it was our turn. Reanne leapt over the boulder, I copied her movement and we walked out of the shadows, exposing ourselves. She clenched her hands into a fist and held them up infront of her, I used mine to create a ball of plasma energy.

"Over here, air heads!" I yelled, every Shadirian stopped whatever they were doing, put down whatever they were holding, turned to face us. There were a lot more than I thought. Oohhh fabulous...

"NINJA! ATTACK!" One of the Shadirians gave the order, before we knew it, me and Reanne were getting surrounded.

"Lloyd, you know what to do" She nodded before flipping off and attack the Shadirians. I knew what she meant, fight shadows with shadows.

Even though I knew what to do..it was going to be tough. To fight the Shadirians, I had to fight their shadows with mine. Great. I looked to the cave wall and stared at my own shadow holding the energy ball still in my hands, then, I had an idea. I could still use my Elemental Powers just the shadow of it. So, that's what I did.

Of course, it took a while to get the hang of, but I was getting there! I quickly searched around the cavern, through the Shadirians and their piercing coloured eyes for Reanne, I saw her saw her back-flip over the Shadirian in possession of her Blade, her shadow snatching it from his hand as she passed over him.

The Ninja, on the other hand, were also in a miniature battle of their own. Zane and Cole were in their Spinjitzu whirlwinds, fending off any Shadirian that came close. Kai was melting the lock, and Jay using his hands and feet to fight. Reanne, being the pro of shadow fighting, had the biggest crowd. The distraction was working.

I decided it was best if we fought together, we would have a better chance. So, I entered my Spinjitzu tornado and made my way over to her, knocking over the Shadirians in the way. Much to my delight, she seemed joyed to see me. We stood together, defending eachother a backs.

"Lloyd! Reanne! Let's move! Now!" I heard Kai's voice power over the other noises in the cave.

"Finally, we can get out of this dump" Reanne was relieved.

"You bet!" I answered, I looked up to the roof of the opening, seeing pointed rocks hanging down from the roof and out of the walls. We were bellow the cage. I had a plan "Follow me"

I jumped on one of the rocks sticking out the wall, then onto the next, swinging myself up using my hands, grabbing the next one, flinging myself over. Reanne copied my actions from bellow. Once we had continued to the level of the cage, I eyed up it up, and vaulted over, landing on the top bars with a 'clang'.

The impact of me landing on the top causing it to joggle, and it swung away from the wall just as Reanne made her leap..but her to completely miss-shot her landing. The last thing I saw before I scrambled to the edge was her falling and the sound of 'wapung'.

Afraid to look down, I cautiously peeked over. Fortunately, Reanne had grabbed the bottom of the cage, so she hadn't plunged to solid ground bellow. Unfortunately, the Shadirians were slowly making their way over to us. I stuck my hand down to the Purple Ninja, who seemed to be struggling in recovering from her fall and pulling herself back up.

"You just had to fall, didn't you? Make a scene" I beckoned sarcastically, even though this wasn't the time or place for it. Reanne wrapped her hand around mine and I began pulling her up.

"Yeah, yeah, and I blame you" She grunted as I pulled her up.

I laughed before we practically flew off the top in the direction of a dangling rock from the ceiling, I went first. By firstly, grabbing onto it, secondly, swinging on it, thirdly, letting go of it. Pretty easy huh?

That's what I thought. But by the looks of Reanne's face, she looked as if I was crazy. The amount of irritated, glowering Shadirian eyes on us intensively increased as we descended toward the other Ninja.

Once we landed, the force of us hitting against the ground caused our legs to give way, resulting in me and Reanne rolling across the floor. It hurt more than I anticipated. But, thanks to Zane and Jay, we were soon yanked to our feet and running through the cleared exit Cole had made using his strength and Powers of Earth.

And soon, we were out of the cave, running into the desert, I looked at the Reanne who had looked back at the cave where she had been held prisoner for..ages. The cool night air blowing through our hair with a light tug on our gi's and the stars shining down on us.
