Chapter 20: Lloyd, he doesn't need an ambulance

If I'm being honest with myself, when I found out I was going on the mission and Reanne wasn't, it felt like I had just died inside. I really didn't want to be without her. Now, I know we weren't extreme lovers like all those love stories in Love Actually or Rose and Jack from Titanic, and I know she said 'just friends', but it doesn't stop me from loving her. I always will.

I had wondered off into my thoughts about Reanne and me, how much I would miss her, like I've said before, all our memories of her have been restored and it was like she had never been gone in the first place.

I can't believe I let her slip away like that! Zane was teaching her at the moment about focus and control over emotions, I saw her little duel earlier and yesterday, her fighting skills in the cavern, so we had decided to help her train mentally and emotionally more to help her on the path to unlocking her True Potential and try persuade the Sensei's that she, Jay and Zane, should come on the assignment with me and the other boys.

Suddenly, I felt searing pain in my nose. I was more shocked than in pain, although the force knocked me backwards and I landed on my back using my elbow to prop myself up to the side, lifting my hand up under my nostrils, when I pulled my hand away and looked at it, there was red, sticky blood plasted on my fingers and palm of my hand.

Oh, crap! I forgot I was in the training hall practising a fight with Jay, who he just punched me in the face..damn it Lloyd..that makes you look bad.

I heard Jay gasp and run over to me, the next thing I knew he was kneeling down next to me, faffing around and calling the others over to me. There you have it ladies and gentleman; Jay Walker, the most over-exaggerated person I know.

Reanne and Jay were next to me on the floor, Cole was standing cross-armed behind them, his face a picture if doubt, Kai and Zane both standing next to him also looking puzzled.

"Cole! Get the first aid kit!" Jay whinged shoving Cole towards the door whilst checking over me.

"Are you mad?!"

"Jay, its just a bloody nose. It's okay" I tried to reassure him, what was he so concerned about anyway?

"You alright Lloyd?" Reanne's actually asked me if I'm okay without jumping to conclusions, but I could see some worry in her eyes.

"I'm fine, you guys act if like you've never seen a bleeding nose before" I replied blankly sitting myself up.

"Here, have a tissue" Zane handed the tissue to me.

I took the tissue and dabbed my nose, collecting the running blood "Thanks, that's all I needed"

"I just punched the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master" Jay's face was horrified, he cupped his hands and put them over his mouth my response was to scoff.

"Omg! Crime of the century! I, King Kai, your majesty" Kai put his hand on his heart and then pointed at Jay "Sentence you, peasant, to a life-time in jail and exclusion from the Ninja!"

Reanne took me by both hands and pulled me up to my feet after we had all laughed at Kai and Jay, who had already stood up. The laugh caused my nose to bleed a little more, so Zane took another tissue and passed it in my direction, which I took and covered my nose again. We'd only been in here for 2hours.

Jay once again, took it to extremely and grabbed Cole by the forearm.

"Quick, Cole! Call an ambulance!" Jay panicked, Cole looked at him in utter disgrace "Now, you oaf!"

"Seriously?" I looked at Jay raising one eyebrow "It's nothing, you're really creepin' me out"

"Yes Jay, I sense that you are tense, you must relax. Lloyd is fine" Zane instructed, he took a deep breath and nodded. Gees, this boy.

"Right, can we please get back to training now?" Reanne looked anxiously at us all.

"Yup, hey Rea, wanna come practise some new Spinjitzu moves with your highness?" Kai asked, oh great, he thinks he's king now. Wait. Him and Reanne? No! That couldn't happen. Lloyd, calm down, you know she loves you, she admitted it.

"Kai, she needs to practise mentally, I will join you and we shall see if she can use her mind in her Spinjitzu. I have a lesson to finish" Zane followed them both and they all began training. Jay had already began his workouts on the other side of the gym.

"Looks like it's me and you, sunshine" Cole grinned, I tossed by bloody tissue in the bin and we both head towards the practise Commando Robots.

I backflipped over a blade from a sword that had been swung from a Robot, me and Cole and scrapped about 20robots each in the last hour. Admitted, these Nindroids are tough, but once you've done it 20times without using any of your powers, you get bored.

Right now, I just wanted to get stuck in a good ol' fight. As I punched the Commando in its stomach (if you can call it that on a Robot) it almost doubled up, I then continued to kick it in the face, sending it smashing into the wall. Make that 21points for me.

Like Cole had read my mind after he'd finished with his opponent, he made his way closer to me, about 3meters away, drawing his Elemental Blade.

"Your nose up for it?" He laughed, oh Cole, how funny. I have to say, I admire my brothers enthusiasm.

"My nose? More like are you ready for me?" I returned the sarcasm with a smirk.

Creating a plasma ball in my hands, I fired it at Cole, who flipped over it and rolled forward. He jumped to his feet and charged at me, his Blade ready to swipe. I jumped over his Blade and kicked him in the shins as I landed, Cole stumbled forwards onto the floor, but he grabbed my leg and pulled me down too.

Once I fell onto the floor, I flicked my foot at his weapon and sent it sliding across the floor, but Cole had got to his feet, picked me up by shoulder like he did to Reanne earlier and threw me back.

Luckily for me, I landed on my feet, I made once again an energy beam and aimed it at Cole, who this time, got hit and went forcefully back into the wall.

My gold Spinjitzu Tornado is what I used to spin my way over to him, about a meter away I exited my vortex and jumped doing a side-kick towards the Ninja of Earth, who grabbed my foot and pushed it upwards, causing me to go up into a flip.

When I landed, Cole was already aiming a punch, when his fist was about 10centimetres from my face I lifted my own arm and used it to direct Coles punch over my shoulder.

"So, when you going to tell Rea about your massive crush on her?" He smirked, wait..what?

How the heck did he know? Did I make it to obvious by staring at her and grinning at everything she said? Always being next to her? Well, she knows anyway, it's not like I'm that bad, am I?

"The others know?" I wasn't going to deny, no point trying to hide it. Cole hooked the back of my leg and tripped me up, I grabbed his hand and dragged him over my shoulder.

"Yep, we all do. You look at her the same way Jay used to look at Nya" I heard him laugh as I rolled over onto my stomach and got to my feet "It's your eyes that gave it away, but don't worry. She doesn't know"

"Aw man, do I really look as bad as Jay?" I ran a hand through my light blonde hair "And yeah, she does know"

Before Cole had a chance to respond or recover, I leapt at him, both of us rolling across the ground, once we halted, I kicked out my legs, which also kicked Cole back. He fell, but was soon back on his feet, but winded.

I took this to end the fight, I ran at him and punched him in the stomach after I kicked him. Yeah, it always makes me feel bad, but Coles the Master of Earth, not alot actually hurts him.

"What she say?" He asked as I helped him to stand "Oh, if anything goes in between you and my cousin, I'll bash you"

I grinned, but then sighed "Just friends. For now anyway"

After that, we just continued training for another hour. I didn't talk to Cole about Reanne again. It felt good to have it off my chest, I'm surprised Jay hadn't tried to tease me about it yet.

Well, it's still early, she'd only been here 2days.

Maybe he will, once he's got over punching me.
