A warrior for religion
A gladiator for beliefs
A hunter for enlightenment
You try to solve with violence
Not uderstanding your decisions
Not conciously making a choice
Voicing your opinions
On the blade of a sword
You are right and holy
Yet you spill much blood
You think yourself good and true
Your mind is being melded
These beliefs are not yours
Doubts and questions.
Not assured or answered
Are you truly right
You think and think
Pondering your choices
Were you right?
Were you wrong?
Tricked by blood
Betrayed by a brother
You trusted him
And he thrust the knife
Fading and SLowing
Tiring and sad
Cold and lonely
Regretting things once said
Faking a smile
Say you're alright
Hide behind an ego
To make things seem better
A lilting flute plays
A sad little tune
No one else hears it
No one but you

PoetrySome sappy and sad poems I write. I have a few happy ones, but I write to get out the bad stuff.
