Lies and Loneliness

Lies and loneliness

These are my belongings

You told one and gave me the other

When never telling them would have been so painless

I fell head-first, but not without doubts

'He didn't feel the same before,

What's changed'

I could tell

Yet I told myself you were

Honest and for me

I shoved away the doubts

To give you my all

Honesty and abandonment

I am used to it, I shall not cry

I will not allow myself, you lied

Do you deserve my tears?

Yes. I love you, even if not returned

Will I show you them?

No I shall not cry in your presence

I am strong, and can handle anything

I hope you find happiness

As I hope to do soon

I love you, my prince

My deer, my fox

My smile and blush

Shall be reserved for you

As will many other things

We never got to do

I love you, that is true

I would never lie to you

I hope one day,

You do the same

Until then, I will stay

By your side

Loving you, unclose

Until you tell me goodbye.
