Long rides with music in only one ear
Talking for hours and hours on end
Laughing and smiling
Leaning and falling asleep
You never cared about my looks
You never cared about my shortcomings
You were there, always and forever
But eventually you left
And I don't want you gone
I want to mouth the words to songs
As you sit by me and laugh
I want to lean on your shoulder again
You're far away now, unable to talk
Unable to have those carefree evenings
Unable to speak, to sing, to dance
I miss you, friend, and secret love

PuisiSome sappy and sad poems I write. I have a few happy ones, but I write to get out the bad stuff.
