"Jessi!" I heard a faint voice. "Jessi!" The voice repeated. "JESSI! WAKE UP!" I rolled over in my bed and felt an extra weight on it. I slowly opened my right eye to see Shane sitting on my bed trying to wake me up.
"Uh-- What do you want?" I asked patiently waiting for a response.
"I uh-- wanted to wake you up because we have to leave for school in like ten minutes." He nodded and walked out of my room awkwardly and turned down the hall.
I dragged my self out of my warm blanket cocoon, and decided to get ready since we have to leave for school in ten or fifteen minutes. I wobbled over to the bathroom to go change and apply some make up.
I had picked out a plain blue dress that came about mid thigh, a black pair of keds, a silver plated heart necklace that lied right on the middle of my stomach, and decided to curl my hair into loose curls. I applied my regular amount of make-up and ran down stairs to grab a protein bar for a quick breakfast.
I decided to wait on the couch for Shane to come down stairs, so i decided i should pull out my phone to listen to some music. I opened up my spotify app and soon 'She's kinda hot' by 5SOS was blasting through my speakers. I swayed my hips, and jumped up and down to the lyrics until the song came to an ending. I sat back down and heard clapping coming from behind me.
I flick my head backwards to see who it was, yes you guessed it, it was the one and only Shane Duke! "How long have you been sitting there?" I asked quite panicked. He just gave me a small toothy grin and replied, "Long enough."
Oh my gosh! I cant believe Shane just saw me have a little dance party to 5SOS! This is awkward. "Shall we go?" He broke the silent starring contest we were having.
"Uh--ya, ya your right, lets go!" I agreed and ran out to his car with him following shortly behind.

Snap chat from Ashley H . I opened up Snap chat and looked at what Ashley had sent me via chat.
'Hey. How is it going with Shaaane? *wiggles eyebrows*' I mentally roll my eyes and respond.
'Hey! Its going fine. But i don't think we are officially anything but anyways how is it going in L.A?' Ashley is my best friend of all time besides Candy, and she had to move last year due to her dad's job.
'Well well well,what do we have here? Did my little innocent Jessi score herself a cute badboy??'
i face palmed my face...hard. 'Ugh, no. I told you, we aren't really anything right now.'
'So, he is available?' Only she would ask that.
'Well ya i guess. Why do you care? You don't live here anymore, so i doubt you have a chance.'
'ah ha. Thats where your wrong my friend.' I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
'What do you mean? I'm really confused.' I heard a knock on my door, so i scurried off the bed to open it. When i opened the door, a tall, brownish-blonde colored hair, skinny girl stood in front of me. She was pretty enough to be a model, and to be my best friend. "AHHHHHHHHH!" I leaped into her arms and hugged her close.
"Took you long enough to recognize me." She whined, setting me back on the floor.
"What are you doing back here?" I walked over to my bed, and patted a spot next to me for her to sit. "I've missed you so much!"
"Well my dad got transferred back here so i thought i would come and say hi. I called Shane a few days ago, and he said you were living here." She said casually.
I furrowed my eyebrows together, "How did you get his number?" I asked, clearly confused.
She laughed at my confusion, "Me and him go waaaay back." She says happily.
"H-how? Like good friends, or---?" I asked hoping i didn't know the answer.
"Well, we were in a very serious relationship, i missed him, so that's actually why i'm back."
I frowned, "Oh okay." I tried to hide my sadness.
She burst out laughing. "W-what?"
"You actually believed me? Pah," She clicked her lips harshly. No we have been friends since we were little--nothing more." She says still laughing like a hyena.
"Oh okay." I said trying to mask my happiness.
"Don't try and hide how happy you are. I know when you are trying to 'Mask your happiness.' " She says making air quotes around 'mask your happiness'. I laugh lightly and nod.
"Ya sorry i forgot you are my best-est friend ever." I whine, laying on my back.
"Wanna go see Shane? He has gotten hotter ever since you left. Trust me." I hiss, while dragging her out of my room down to the kitchen, where i knew i would see him.
