Simply him.

Chapter 24

One month. It has been one long, and painful month since Shane passed. I still can't say the words without crying or breaking down. 

Everyone at school has been sending me and his friends the best of wishes. I miss him so much that it pains me to the extent where i have thought of dying. Of course i wouldn't but it was just a thought that passed by a couple times.

Everyday i have called Shane hoping that somehow he didn't die and he will answer, but i haven't had any luck.

I dial his number,  "Hey this is Shane Duke. Leave a message for me, especially you Jessi babe." I still blush every time I hear that. "Leave a message at the beep." "BEEP...."

I start sniffling, "Shane baby. I miss you so much, i just want to be able to kiss your lips, cheeks, forehead, neck, and jaw one last time. To be able to hug you again, and to be able to snuggle in your arms, and most importantly to tell you how much I love you Shane." I feel the tears sliding down my cheeks,  quickly ending the call with an I love you sweet Shane. 

I stand up from my bed, walking over to my closet, picking an outfit out for Candy and I's night at the park. She has been acting strangely excited about this, for sometime I can't help but wonder if Taylor Lautner will be there.

 I grab my simple white tee, plaid flannel, and my black distressed jeans. I quickly jump into my clothing, looking into the mirror. I nod in approval, but notice something is missing, rummaging through my closet until i slip on my favorite black scarf. I smile at my reflection, curling my hair into light beach waves, and slipping on some black wedges.

"Hey over here!" I turn to my right and see Candy running towards me smiling big, her arms wide open. I jump into her arms, happy that i still have her here. She pulls back, "Come over here. I gotta go get something from the car real quick but you stay right there." She points to a bench and a tree right next to us. I hesitantly nod as she smiles sending a wink over her shoulder. 

I've been waiting here for five minutes and no sign of Candy coming back yet. I tug my flannel closer to my body, for the temperature is going down rapidly. Just as i'm about to give up all hope and march back to my car, i feel a warm hand on my back. I swirl around quickly revealing a tall, attracti-- omg, it looks exactly like Shane! 

I leap into his arms, tugging him closer to me inhaling his familiar scent. I pull back, seeing he truly is right in front of me. "Shane." I whisper into his chest. "It truly is you." I feel him hoist me up, forcing me to wrap my legs around his torso. "It really is me babe." He winks, a smirk overtaking his features. "What, you can't live without me?" He teases.

"Shane!"I smack his arm playfully. "Way to ruin the moment." He shakes his head, smiling from ear to ear. I give him one last quick peck on the lips and begin to jump down from the position we are in. 

"Shane..." I say, looking him in his beautiful blue eyes.

"Jessica..." He mocks.

"B-but you'are supposed to be dead." I mutter, turning my gaze to the grass beneath me.

I feel a thumb lightly bringing my chin up to face Shane in the eyes. "Jess, I can explain all of that, but can we wait a little while longer? I just want to savor having you back in my life." He asks hopeful.

I nod, a smile tugging at my lips as he places his lips upon mine. I give in immediately, letting my hands course through his hair. I feel his hands hike me up, so I'm now straddling his torso, with my back against the tree I saw when I first walked into the park. 

I feel his tongue slide on the bottom of my lip, quickly granting access and just enjoying the feeling of kissing Shane after a long painful month--one where I thought he was dead may I add-- .  A while later we are still kissing, coming to a halt when we hear Candy's voice. "Get a room you two, you're making me sick." She says making a fake gagging noise. 

I turn around blushing, pulling my shirt farther down my stomach for it had hiked up during me and Shane's 'talk'. A voice breaks me out of my thoughts. "Maybe we can finish what we started later." I turn around seeing Shane whispering in my ear. He sends me a wink, "Just let me know when." 

I blush even more, walking faster to Candy's car so he can't see my red tomato like face.

A/N: So here ya go guys. I just want to have a quick heart felt talk right now guys. Please read the following 'Chapter' (more like a long ass authors note) so we can talk about everything.
