"Where you go, I go."

"What you see, I see."

"I know I'd never be me without the security,"

"Of your loving arms keeping me from harm."

" Put your hand in my hand and we'll stand."

- Adele 'Skyfall'

I read off the lyrics, they've been tumbling in my mind all night. I smile, walking over to my closet, slipping on a cute yet simple black and white striped dress. The bust was black and white striped, with a simple black bow, while the skirt of it was plain black coming just about mid thigh.

I look down at my shoe selection and decide on a cute pair of white heels. I march over to my vanity, applying my regular make up and picking out a dainty white pearl necklace. Just as i get the clasp on the pearls to close shut, i hear the doorbell ringing downstairs.

I march down the stairs excitedly, meeting a handsome Shane. "Hey." I say waving to him, welcoming him into my house. "Hey cutie." He lunges in for a hug, placing his long arms on my waist. I smile as he gives me a quick kiss, walking away to sit down in the living room. I follow him. "So can we talk?" He questions as soon as i get into the living room beside him.

I look at him, half nervous and half excited, to finally get answers.  I nod, patting a place next to me on the couch.

He looks at me smiling, even though you can see the pain coursing through him. "So..." he takes one more sharp intake of air before he starts up again,

"Let's start from the beginning shall we?" Without waiting for my answer he continues.

"My Uncle and I haven't had the best of relationships since the 'incident' with his son. Anyway my uncle Josh has been part of this one gang since he was in his early teens, and he soon became the leader when his died. I was very young when I found out about it, and I forced myself to grow up quicker so I could also be apart of it." He takes a breath.

"I was around 12 when I joined. I soon realized that killing, drugs, and all that was not something I wanted to be doing everyday. Both Sam and I wanted out badly by the age of 14 so me and Sam staged his death. I thought I would be able to get out too, but I didn't until much later."

"My sister Cassidy died at the age of 10, and that's when I got out. I just stayed out of Josh's way. She died on his watch, I was fuming with anger and betrayal. I haven't had any encounters with him until recently," He gestures to me, lightly laughing. "and that's when I knew what this was all about. It had always been about Sam dying. He took you away from me, planning on killing the only person I have ever loved." I place my hand on his leg, trying to calm him down.

"For all he knew, Sam had died, because of me. That is when i contacted Sam explaining everything to him, knowing he would be able to help me. We came up with a plan, and it brings us to here."

"When we got to Josh's house, he was shocked beyond belief that Sam was alive. The only way he agreed to let you live is if he got to take my life. I obviously said yes because you are my love. Josh, Sam, and I set a date for the day I would be killed. I decided I would talk to you one last time before I had to die."

"Me and Sam thought of a way so I wouldn't die. That is when we contacted Allen. He told me that he got to talk to you and promise that neither of us would die. He told me that he would be able to get me a bullet proof vest and arrange a way for the feds to organize a arrest for all his killings and drug cartel. We went through with the plan and I had to lay low until the arrest was to take place. So here i am." I look over to him and see him smiling with anxiously.

I smile as widely as my cheeks will allow. "Shane i don't know if you know this or not but that is literally the best thing ever, I love you with all my heart Shane. I can't believe you risked your life for me." He smiles widely.

He lunges forward taking me in his lap, placing his lips upon mine enveloping me in his warm arms. Our lips move in sync as I quickly pull away from him at the sound of the oven beeping. "Shit, the potatoes!" I curse, running into the kitchen with Shane hot on my tail. I manage to get them out, but not before a large cloud of smoke envelopes my lungs, causing me to cough and flail my arms violently.

I back away from the oven, examining the potatoes in my hand. The look like hard pieces of rocks painted black and yellow. 'black and yellow, black and yellow' ha ha sorry. I walk over to where Shane is standing sheepishly. "How about we just order pizza?" I ask laughing lightly.

He nods, walking closer to me, "Ya good idea." He places a small kiss on my temple walking over to his phone to order food.

I cannot help but mutter to myself 'what did I ever do to deserve him?' smiling down at the floor shaking my head.

A/N: I would like to apologize for not updating for a long time. I would be lying if I said I was busy. I simply had no motivation to finish writing.

I am going to try to write more often and add many more chapters, unlike previously thought. Simply Him will NOT be coming to an end so soon.

I love you all so much!
