I walk into the darkly lit room, and spot Candy beside her father. I smile weakly when she makes her way over to me, engolfing me in a hug. "I'm sorry Jes." She says. I nod, sniffling a few tears away.

I pull away making my way to the stands. "Hmm." I clear my throat. "I would like to thank you all for coming today in memory of Shane Duke. I'm Jessi, his girlfriend and today we will be taking time to remember the dear man i got to call my boyfriend for a few short months." I sniffle away some tears, glancing back at the crowd.

"To begin i just want everyone to know that Shane Duke will be remembered and never forgotten. He will be remembered as a strong, kind, loving, and warm hearted person. Although his life was cut short, he saved me from the danger of his uncle's gang. I am in deep and forever debt to all who knew and loved Shane the same way as I did. He was the best boyfriend any girl could ask for and a great friend as well." I push away the tears threatening to spill over and breath, looking back down to my notes.

Will misty eyes I read what is written next. "Shane smirked at me the first time we met. Of course as all relationships go, we never fully started off truly liking one of eachothers personalities. That soon slipped and we fell in love. As cheesy as it may sound, Shane was my one and only. The true person i knew i could count on and trust. I truly love shane." I add, putting emphasis on love.

I smile at the crowd, "I just want to thank all who came to support me and his loved ones. And that i hope that many of you will remember Shane for the great person he was." Everyone applauds, simply ending in me believing that he might still love me, from where he is today.
