It had been two weeks since Wyatt was home, having left for the combine, which Molly understood as a week long fitness test for the draft. He was finally arriving home, after spending the first part of their last summer before college away. Despite being in preparation for the draft, all he wanted was to be in the arms of his girlfriend.
He had called Molly every day when he got back to his hotel, and it only made him miss her more. They both knew how important this summer was, knowing in a few weeks time seeing each other would be pushed aside due to school and hockey. Plus, a two hour drive between them.
As they arrived back at the diner —Luke having picked him up from the airport— Wyatt was able to Molly, sitting along the curb with her sketchbook in hand. She hadn't noticed the truck pull up, her ears covered by the headphones to her walkman. Wyatt, however, was quick to jump out of the truck, his father barely getting it in park before his feet his the asphalt.
Wyatt ran up to Molly, the red head dropping her sketchbook when she finally noticed him. She jump up from the ground, wrapping her arms tightly around him.
"It's crazy how bad I missed you, Cher." Wyatt spoke, his voice muffled by her thick curls.
"We've got the rest of summer together, don't worry."
The couple were sat inside the loft, Wyatt attempting to braid Mollys hair. She was sat on the floor, munching on French fries with her eyes glued to Friends. Molly had been trying to ignore how absolutely ripped Wyatt had gotten in just two weeks. She was fortunate he hadn't decided to wear one of his muscle tees.
"You two better be—okay, good." Izzy walked in with her eyes partially covered, as if the two would be doing it right in the livingroom of the loft.
"Dude, what'd you expect?" Wyatt chuckled, letting go of Mollys hair as Izzy sat beside him. He went to hug the girl, only to receive a questionable look in return. "You act like I have cooties." He stated and she shrugged, leaning down to take one of Mollys fries.
"Luke told me he accidentally walked in on you guys earlier, I didn't want the same fate." Izzy said, and Mollys face flushed red as she shook her head.
"We were only kissing and Luke didn't knock on the bedroom door." Molly defended, leaning her head back on Wyatt's knee so she could see Izzy.
"Oh! Did you tell him—"
"Shh! He doesn't know!" Molly reached up to cover Izzy's mouth but it only had Wyatt more curious.
"Tell me what?" He asked, his heart dropping momentarily until the girls began to giggle. "Guys, seriously you know I don't like when you keep shit from me." He pouted and the girls rolled their eyes, Molly got up, moving to sit on his lap.
"Okay, since I have the house to myself basically all summer.. Beau is coming home and staying there, and we thought maybe we could all have like one long sleepover." His eyes widened at Mollys words, having forgotten Lorelai and Rory left to backpack Europe.
"Uh, fuck yeah."

"Remember when Taylor accused us of stealing skittles and you skated away so fast you hit Dean?" Izzy laughed, reminded of the story as Wyatt handed her a packet of skittles. "I still cant believe he was convinced you two were stealing from him." She said, ripping open the packet and Wyatt let out a small laugh.
"To be fair, I actually did steal the skittles." Wyatt admitted, thinking after all these years he may as well admit to it.
The girls' jaws dropped, both throwing the couch pillows at him. Wyatt began to laughed, shielding his face from the hits.
