Shoto finished reading the public file on Izuku and... he felt sick to his stomach, all those scars on his body just for being quirkless.
And he looked down on him for not understanding pain.
God's he knew what his family, especially the upper members in the clan were like and how they treated the quirkless servants, especially his father and grandmother. But it wasn't till now.. that he ever truly cared or pay attention, but now...
He looked at his own reflection off his screens glass and stared at his scar.
His mother poored boiling hot water on his left eye because it looked just like his father.
"STOP LOOKING AT ME WITH THOSE EYES!!! I WONT LET YOU HURT ME OR ANY MORE OF MY CHILDREN!!!!!!!" Screamed Rei as she poured the water on his eye.
His screams got louder as he fell to the ground sobbing and holding his eye in pain.
"S-shoto..." said Rei in a slow tone before her eyes began to widen in horror at what shed just done... she... she hurt her son.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!!!!!!" Screamed Endeavor as he stormed in and slammed his fist into Reis face sending her flying.
"GAAH!!" She yelped while slamming into a wall and crumbling to the floor with a quickly bruising cheek that had blood going down it and beginning to swell. Slowly she lifted her head and didnt even register her pain, only her child's screams of pain. "S-shoto... my baby...".
"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!!!" Screamed Endeavor kicking Rei in the stomach making her cry in pain and hold her stomach in pain. But then his eyes went to his sobbing child and they held no mercy. "HAS NOTHING I TAUGHT YOU GOTTEN THROUGH YOU!!!! NOW LOOK AT YOU!!! YOUVE DISGRACED OUR CLAN BY GETTING A SCAR ON YOUR FACE!!!!! IT COULDNT EVEN HAVE AT LEAST BEEN FIRE!!!" he cried in rage.
Shoto didnt understand any of this, all he knew was that he had a big family with him being next in line after his father who will lead the clan when his mother dies.
"D-DADDY IT HURTS!!!!" He cried in pain holding his face "MOMM-".
He was slapped across the face on the fresh wound.
"YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME BOY!!" Raged Endeavor as flames exploded from his body, consuming everything "YOU HAVE CAUSED A MARK ON THE TODOROKI AND FROM A HIMURA NO LESS!!! WE ARE TODOROKIS!!!".
"-ki Lord Todoroki" said the voice of his servant.
Shoto snapped his eyes open and shot up from his desk sweating profusely and touching his scar in pain as both ice and fire came from him.
"M-my Lord please calm down" he cried, hating himself for having to give him a order.
Shoto heard him and began to try and control his breathing, taking deep breaths in and out while staring at his desk to focus on a single thing.
It took him a minute but he managed to calm himself down enough to turn off his quirk and relax.
"Sorry" said Shoto quietly while still breathing hard and feeling both cold and hot sweat at the same time go for his body.
"N-n-no my Lord please forgive me for entering without permission, then touching your arm... but when I heard you crying I... please forgive me and punish me my lord..." he said while quickly dropping to his knees and hands while bowing his head.
On complete instict from saying it more than once to him and other servants "just do the usual punishment and leave" he said hating himself for remembering that day again.
"Y-yes my Lord.." he said sounding scared and reluctant, he quickly bowed his head again with it almost hitting the floor for how low he bowed, before standing up, but not fully. He kept himself slightly hunched down at both the knees and back like all good quirkless servants.
