Chapter 19. Blood Is Everything

Himiko took a deep breath trying in vain to calm herself down given she was going to be fighting Katsuki and shes seen multiple times and even felt how powerful his attacks are.

But underneath all that fear was anger, he hurt Izuku so much.. and shes sure she hasn't even seen or heard of everything he's done to Izuku. After all, he still refuses to let his upper body be seen at all and even after all these years, she only knows that he has scars on it and they are horrendous given the damage.

Taking another calming breath, she finished putting on her clothes and went to tie her hair back so it doesn't distract her, when she heard a light knock on the door.

"It's open" Himiko said as she began to tie her hair and looked over to see Izuku open the door but he had a look of worry on his face.

"Hi Himiko" he said with an almost forced smile and Eri was behind him but immediately ran forward to hug Himikos legs tightly.

"Dont fight the loud mean guy" said Eri holding Himikos legs even tighter.

Smiling sadly Himiko gently patted Eris head while hugging her back "im sorry but I have to, if I wanna be a cool hero like Izuku then I have to fight".

Izuku looked away with a tint of red on his cheeks and tried to ignore the look Himiko was now giving him.

"B-but you'll get hurt..." said Eri.

"Maybe, but its better to try something and get hurt then never try and live with regret" said Himiko as she gently kissed Eris forehead.

"He's dangerous" said Izuku looking down at the ground.

"I know".

"...please be careful Himiko... I... I don't want to see you hurt.." he said while placing his hand against his heart as he felt it ache.

For Himiko her eyes began to widen as hope filled her chest and she began to wonder... if he now liked her back.

"I-if you'd le-" "No Izuku... I know you want to help me and give me advice on what to do to defeat him, but I already have a plan and its half thanks to you for it" said Himiko as she gently held his hand and looked at him. "Thanks to all those times you cutely nerded out infront of me I've caught onto some things you usually only see and thanks to that I know how to win".

Izuku was silent as she then suddenly leaned forward and ever so gently kissed his cheek.

"Wish me luck Izuku, I will be seeing you in the finals. I'll be seeing you soon Eri, wish me luck as well" said Himiko before she began to leave the room.

"Please be careful and good luck Himiko" said Eri quickly.

"I will see you at the finals as well Himiko... kick his butt" said Izuku putting his faith in her.

Smiling more, she nodded her head and left the room.

Both Katsuki and Himiko were standing in the arena with them both glaring at each other with nothing but seething hatred.

With Midnight she looked at them both and her mind subconsciously went back to Ochakos round against him and how that ended... she didn't want to think about what could happen to Himiko. Quickly looking at both of them again, she saw that they were ready so she began to raise her whip.

"The rules are the same and remember, no crippling types of wounds" Midnight said but her eyes specifically shot towards Katsuki.

Said man just scoffed.

"BEGIN!" Screamed Midnight as she cracked her whip while then muttering unfer her breath quiet enough that they mic didnt catch it "Goodluck Himiko".

Immediately Katsuki swung his arms behind himself and released a massive explosion, propelling himself forward at great speeds, before bringing his right arm forward to attack Himiko.
