The papers scattered all over the carpeted office floor as that bitch bumped into me. She has done nothing but made my life a living hell since I began to work here. My father, doesn’t see the evil side of her, he thinks she’s an angel, and I am the clumsy trouble maker.
“Oriana, why haven’t those papers been filed out on my desk like I asked twenty minutes ago!?” My father yelled as I stumbled into his office with the heavy papers, after I picked them up and reorganized them.
“I’m sorry but Tamara bumped into me, again, while I was going here and she didn’t even stop to help.” I grumbled.
“Listen here you” He grabbed my arm tightly. “You will not blame your clumsiness on your sister, she is an excellent intern, and you should learn from her.” He shoved my arm away nearly causing me to trip. I sighed, left his office and went to the lounge.
“Hey, baby.” I rolled my eyes as I heard the voice of my ‘fiancé’ invade my ears.
“What do you want derrick.” I glared as he sat across from me.
“Why, I came to visit my future wife, is that wrong of me?” He smirked as he reached out to touch my hand.
“Look, just because our father’s arranged this marriage it doesn’t mean that I like you or that I will go through with it.” I hissed standing up.
“Oh, why do treat me so harsh baby.” He feigned hurt as he continued to smirk.
“Stop calling me baby, I told you that since we first met, I hate you, I hate your guts, I wish I never met you.” I could feel my face heating up with anger. “As a matter of fact, Tamara has a crush on you, why don’t you go call her baby, I’m sure she would enjoy it.” I rushed off to my office, locked the door and shut the blinds. My office was like a glass box. The whole front wall was completely glass. A foggy type of glass so you could see that someone was behind it but not exactly who.
“Um, excuse me?” I looked up from my sketch pad to see a man poking his head into my office.
“Yes, come in, how can I help you?” I asked closing the book and setting it aside. The man walked in and sat across from me in the client chair.
“I’m Azrael Daemon and I’m new here. Would you so kind as to tell me where the Sales pitch and design department is.” He smiled at me, holding up a paper.
“Oh well your in the right department, I am Oriana and My father is the boss here, so If you would just take a seat here while I finish some of this I’ll get you ready for an interview with him.” I pointed to the seat across from me at my desk.
“Sure, no problem.” He took a seat and set his papers down.
“So what do you do here?”Azrael asked running his fingers across the bowl of candy on my desk.
“I do pretty much bits of everything. I like to explore my options.” I answered as I typed away at the keyboard, writing out my Father’s schedule for this week. I clicked print and stood up.
“Alright, I won’t hold you up any longer.” I smiled as he held the door open for me to walk through then followed behind me, toward the copy room where the paper was printing out.
“Hey babe, who is this guy?” he paused sizing up Azrael.
“This is a friend of mine we have been friends for a few years now.” I smiled at Azrael as he looked at me questioningly.
“How come you never mentioned him to me?” Derrick pointed out.
“First of all I don’t have to tell you anything and second of all he came here for me so mind your business.” I glared as I grabbed his hand and pulled him toward my father’s office.
