They ran to the car after a flash of white light disappeared as soon as it came.

"Her, her body is gone!" Tamara gasped as she stopped by the drivers side.

"The car is empty, not even her things are in the car." Derrick mumbled with a confused look.

"Dammit!" Thomas growled as he stomped his foot.

"Thomas, what is going on!?" Malinda Screeched at her husband.

"That damn man, He took her just like he took her mother from me."  Thomas raged.

"What man!?" Tamara asked.

"Azrael. He is death himself, and he took my first wife and now my daughter." He growled.

"Mr.Miller, What are you talking about?" Derrick panicked.

"My wife was taken by death, The only difference is that she was almost dead herself, so he took her spirit." Thomas explained.

"How was she almost near death?" Malinda asked

"What does it matter now! Dammit Now I lost the whole deal, and can't get that 12 thousand dollar contract." Thomas froze as the words slipped out.

"What are you talking about?" Derrick asked.

"I was going to receive 12 thousand dollars if I gave My daughter to Derrick's father so Derrick could marry her." Thomas sighed at his loss.

"So basically you were selling your daughter?" Tamara asked in shock.

"Oh don't act so surprised, you and your mother hated her any way, you spent every waking moment of your lives trying to find a way to make her miserable." Thomas chuckled as he left the scene.

Yawning and stretching in the bed, I reached out for the body that I fell asleep next to but came up empty. It's been one and a half weeks since she's been here with me, and I normally wake up before her but before I could start to worry about her where abouts, the scent of breakfast hit me. A large grin plastered my face as I pulled on my boxers and slowly trekked to the kitchen. Leaning against the door frame of the kitchen, I watched Oriana sing as she made chocolate and blueberry pancakes. Blueberry in one plate and chocolate in another. He hair was up in a pony tail and covered in a scarf.

I thought of how great my life would be living with this woman who stole my heart. Eventually she would be swollen like a beach ball, pregnant with our child. Our child would be beautiful, boy or girl. Teaching him/her how to walk, talk, ride a bike, we would be married and on to our second and third child. I couldn't help but chuckle as the bitter sweet thoughts, knowing that our future together would never come true.

"Goodmorning!" Oriana smiled setting the plates on the island in the middle of the kitchen.

"Good morning, my love." I kissed her neck. "Why are you up so early?"

"I've heard guys can work up an appetite after hours of 'working out'" She blushed slightly as she set three empty plates in front me, and the two empty places to my right, where two seat remained.

"We do, but I usually get hungry for more, and your the only woman I know who can feed my hunger." I winked as I sat on the first of three stools at the island, watching her set a can of whipped cream, on the counter in between the plates stacked with pancakes.

"I'm glad to know, I can feed you" She blushed setting a large plate of eggs and bacon next to the pancakes.

"Why are you setting out and extra plate?" I asked her pulling her around the counter and on my lap. wrapping my arms around her waist ans snuggling my nose into her neck.
