Date 8, Miraxus

Mirajane's P.O.V. (Figures right!!)

So Natsu had the idea to go out on date days, and of course Natsu just had to say that I couldn't stay here. I was planning on working in my little ship book but no, now I have to go out today. I was still in my sweats and tank top and I hadn't put my hair up yet so my little bangs were down too. I started grabbing dishes as couples left one by one, how I adore my OTPs!

"So we are going to the beach then," a deep voice came from behind me as I felt arms wrap around my waist. I look up and back a little bit to see my boyfriend standing right behind me.

"That's fine with me," I smile as I turn my face back down to continue the dishes. Obviously Laxus was bored because he kept trying to get me to notice him. After about 10 different attempts, he just walks over and grabs my chin tilting it up and kissing me. I end up smiling then pushing him off, giving him a not now look.

"But why, I'm bored,"

"Let me finish up then we can go," a few minutes pass I hear a quiet voice talking to me.

"Bye Mira-san thanks for the help," it was Levy. I poked my head out from the kitchen.

"No problem Levy," I feel like I'm yelling but who knows, "have fun." I winked at her then brought my head back in and snickered a little bit.

"Almost done," the blonde man behind me whined.

"Yes now stop whining and go get dressed," I shooed him out and quickly finished then gathered all the items we would need for the beach and made lunch for us. Laxus came back down and then I went to get my swimsuit on,

Laxus's P.O.V.

She's taking forever, but I guess I probably could've help her do her chores and make lunch but still. I guess it was worth it though, she came down in a black bikini that hugged her tightly and she just put her hair in a pony tail with her bangs pinned back against her head with a bobby pin. She also had a bright yellow shirt with a sunset colored onto it for a cover up.

"Wow, you look great Mira," I eyed her one more time before grabbing the bags, "ready to go?"

"Yes we can go now," she giggled as I grabbed her hand and led her down to the beach. It's not just any beach though, it's a private beach since a few jobs back we saved a guy and he said we could use his private beach if we were ever in town. I'm taking him up on his offer.

Mira's P.O.V.

He led me to a beach that seemed much father than I remembered, and the best part was no one was on it! It's like some kind of private beach. I enjoyed the day of swimming and of course sun tanning, but as the sun started getting lower, Laxus started to look really bored and impatient at the same time. While he was looking away, I put my shirt and shorts back on so we could go back, it was almost 5. He walked closer to me and picked me up.

"L La Laxus, what are you doing," my face grew even more red every second. He started running towards the water, "No Laxus stop, I don't want to..," A cold chill shot up my body as my back slammed into the water, "get wet again." I sighed in defeat as he laughed at me.

"You should see your face right now," he kept on laughing.

"Why don't you get in mister, see how much you like it," I yelled at him, I was shivering so much as he jumped in after me. He swam over to me as I splashed him in the face for payback. Well that was a bad idea, it turned into a full on splash war. We had our splash war for a long time, also going swimming in between each round until I was finally done.

"Ok ok stop, I give up," I giggle a little in between each word. He finally stops splashing me as we make our way back to our stuff.

"I win," he whispered in my ear as we packed up and left.

The walk back was extremely cold, Laxus didn't have his shirt on while mine was hugging me in all the wrong places, but for the guys looking at me, it was in all the right places. I probably didn't look too happy but I bet Laxus was. I looked up at him scowling at everyone around. I saw the hotel coming into view so I grabbed his hand.

Laxus's P.O.V.

Mira grabbed my hand when I saw the hotel. I looked down at her then clenched her hand back. Her face looked murderous and sad. I saw our guild mates staring at us through the window but I pretended not to notice. The lobby seemed to be loud and packed and so was the elevator. The top floor was empty, except for the loud people from our room that don't know how to whisper.

"I wonder what they did,"

"Beats me, Mira's soaked,"

"Shhhh guys they're coming," I looked over at her and smiled, and she started giggling.

"They can't be quiet can they," she lightly smiled.

"No, I guess they can't," I smiled a little bit, not enough for others to see but she still saw it.

"It's nice to see you smile Laxus, it really is," I nodded but mostly ignored her. She reached for the door handle and as soon as her hand was on it, it swung open leaving her to fall on her face. Well, she would've if I wouldn't have caught her. There was a chorus of awes coming from the circle around us. I just straightened her out, rolled my eyes, and walked away.
