hi everyone
i thought for a long time about how i was going to write this and if i would ever say anything but i think this is the best time.
i am leaving wattpad and my stories will become completely inactive.
for some months now ive been very on and off on this platform due to both hate ive gotten that's been extremely difficult to deal with but also life. i was super young when i started writing stories on wattpad and throughout the years of being here ive been able to forge some amazing relationships and share some of my best works.
my works have always been for fun and never for any sort of gain and etc but i think with writing stories that very suddenly gain traction is that you have to deal with the troves of people who will find any and every chance they have to let you know their disdain for your work. i put my personal socials out and in turn, received some harsh and borderline abusive messages from individuals who simply didn't like my book because of my characters and how i set them up.
opinions and thoughts about my stories are always welcomed but when it crosses into being cruel and hateful, it's something i have to pull myself back from.
despite some of the cruelty, i've always had kindness and genuine love from strangers who saw a little bit of themselves in my writings. ANKL and let it go were books that were fan-fiction in context but also had parts of my own personal struggles and some of you found something to relate to in them and for that i'm forever grateful.
thank you to everyone who has consistently supported me, gotten excited for updates, reread, sent kind messages, and overall just being here and supporting me.
within the next week i will begin archiving my book until it's completely removed and greendayings will becomes inactive permanently.
I will however leave ANKL up on Ao3 for anyone who finds themselves missing it or wanting to just re-read it.
