- And now I'm the one feeling guilty for lying! - German groaned on his way back home while he was talking to Bertuccio, who had no idea what to say, but he was way too scared to even speak up.

When the Count Monte Cristo is angry people are better leaving him alone and not to say anything that can make him even angrier.

But soon he realized that his "master" is not angry at all.

He's rather sad...

- What am I doing with my life? - he sighed as he was holding his head - I'm making her sad and confused... The only person I truly love and means something to me from my past...

- Count...

Before Bertuccio could speak up the car stopped which meant they arrived home.

- Okay... Time to get back to work! - said the count ad he jumped out of the car and went inside his house, to his office.

"I should go and visit Villefort too... Since he was also the part of this crap I had to go through..." - German thought to himself - "But I really have no reason to do it... Which wouldn't make me seem weird..."

But he didn't have to think about this for too long.

Soon a fortunate event let him meet up with Mrs. Villefort herself.

Her horses got scared by something which caused them to run out like crazy, pulling the car behind them with the wife and son of Villefort and Mrs. Danglars too.

German immediately ordered his other servant, called Ali to stop the horses which he easily did.

The ladies were scared, but relieved to be alive and Lady Danglars got more excited when she saw who was their hero.

- Mr. Monte Cristo! - she gasped - Is this your servant, who stopped the horses?

- Yes, milady - German smiled - Are you all okay?

- Yes... Atleast I think - she said as she looked at her friend and her son - Are you two okay?

- Yes... Yes, we are - Lady Villefort nodded, but she couldn't take her eyes off of the handsome count - Ah... Silly me... My name's Heloise! - she added and as soon as she did the count gave her a kiss on the hand and later on he invited them into his house for a tea.

They spent some time together, but then they had to go back home.

- Ali will take you home - said Monte Cristo - I'm not letting you leave without anyone that can keep the horses in his hands.

- Thank you so much! - said Heloise, who had been admiring the count the whole time - And I'd love to have you for dinner some time too!

- I'll see when do I have time for that - the count replied with a kind smile and soon the ladies and the kid left.

When he was finally alone he sighed deeply...

- Dear lord... - German sighed - How annoying these people are...

- You wanted to do this - said Ramallo.

- And I will!

- Good. I almost thought you were about to give up.

- I told you, Ramallo... I'm not giving up... Not now that I'm finally here.
