(Back to Marisa's POV)
I couldn't hold in the tears anymore, I was scared. Tears had only started to stream when I heard someone call my name.
"Marisa!" I turned to see Kian and Siera running towards me.
For some reason at that moment I was afraid that either of them and possibly the other boys, were mad at me. Mad that I let this happen.
"What happened?!" Kian spoke out of breath and pulled me into a hug once he noticed I was crying.
Siera stood next to me rubbing my back. Against my chest I felt Kian's heart thudding, I wasn't sure if it was because of all this or because he was just running. He let go of me, and looked me in the eye for an answer.
"I don't know, JC went to go get his camera out of his car to film at my place. I was upstairs with Cheyenne and Brent, and I noticed he was gone for a long time," I muttered, making hand gestures and swinging my arms everywhere.
"I went downstairs to go find him, and when I got to him. He was laying on the floor, with a bloody arm, and he couldn't move his legs. He says he tripped, but I don't know what happened, and Kian. I'm scared and I'm so so so sorry " I buried my face in my hands.
"Everything will be okay, JC is a strong person, and its not your fault. But, he never leaves his camera, any of them, in his car. Ever. Marisa, JC lied. He was up to something," Kian ran his hand through his hair, and stared at the floor. He seemed to be thinking, hard. I was a bit reliefed to see they weren't mad, but only to have the worry build back up from Kian's statement.
"Are you here alone?" Siera asked, looking around.
"No, Cheyenne and Brent are inside. Brent drove us here," I said pointing towards the waiting room.
"Let's go inside, you must be hot," she rested her arm around my shoulders and brought me inside. Kian quietly followed.
As we walked in, the air conditioning hit me, causing goosebumps to rise on my skin. I showed Siera where Cheyenne was at, and we sat down together.
"I filled out the paper work," Cheyenne informed.
"Thank you," I smiled at her.
Siera stood up from her chair and walked around. She stopped behind me, and started to put my hair in a pony tail. When she was done, she casually walked back to her seat.
"Sorry, its just you look really hot," she laughed.
"I am. I shouldn't have changed into pajamas when I got home," I can feel in my face how hot I was.
"Are you guys the family of Justin Caylen?" a man wearing a doctors coat came up to us.
My eyes shots towards his direction when I heard JC's name and jumped to my feet.
"They're his really close friends, and I'm his girlfriend," I quickly stated, pointing at everyone.
"Okay, well JC is in harsh conditions, would you care to speak privately?" The doctor asked, looking at everyone.
"No its okay, we're all really close with him," I shook my head.
I just need to know what is wrong with JC, for all I care he can tell me in front of strangers, I just want to know if he's okay. I looked at everyone's faces, and Kian's seemed to be the only one most concerned other than me. I gestured for Kian to come closer. Kian walked up to us, and I turned my head to the doctor.
"Justin's left arm is seriously scrapped, and it'll need to be bandaged for a month and a half to heal. His left leg is broken in three different spots between his knee and ankle, and thankfully he only cracked one rib. But he also fractured, his right wrist. For his leg, they'll need to be surgery done. Do you know how this injury happened?" he read off his clipboard, and held it to his side when he needed to know how this happened.
"No, he uh, he told he tripped, but I-I don't know, I don't know anything else," I choked on my words.
I glanced over to Kian, he was covering his mouth. He seemed to be focusing on something behind the doctor.
"That's what he told me as well, but I'm sure a trip would not cause all of this." the doctors face became confused.
"Other information," he pulled his clip board back out.
"We need to operate on Justin tonight. He'll have to stay here for a maximum of two days. I'll leave you guys to discuss," the doctor smiled, and with that he turned on his heel and took off.
I could not believe, what I had just heard. But I was thanking God, that JC is still alive. His conditions sound life threatening. I know for sure I am staying here, till JC gets released.
"Marisa, I'm sorry," Brent hugged me. I hugged him back and he rubbed my back.
Cheyenne stood up, and weakly smiled. She hugged me after Brent. Then walked to the front desk.
When Siera stopped hugging me, I fastly walked up to Kian and hugged him tight. He rested his cheek on the top of my head, due to our heights he towered over me. He wrapped his arms around shoulders and tightly hugged me back.
Cheyenne came back, "the lady said only two people can stay over night."
"So Marisa, and Kian, if you want," Siera stood up.
"Yeah, ima stay," Kian said still hugging me.
About two hours later Cheyenne and Brent left and took Siera home. Kian and I sat in the waiting room, waiting.
Long after, the same doctor came out again, to let us know that JC's procedure was about to begin. I cried, and Kian shed a few tears. He probably thought I didn't see him cry, and because he most likely didn't want me to know, I kept quiet.
After waiting 45 minutes later, I began to drift off into a slumber as I rested my head on Kian's shoulder.
