I M P O R T A N T

(AN: Ed isn't famous- he's just an old family friend from England that decided to move to NY to apply for Julliard and yeah)

Madison's POV

"So what should we cover?" I asked Ed, sitting in my room with him. It was kinda funny because he was the floor bellow me.

"I don't know, how about," he trailed off. Pointing to my laptop.

"Perfect." I smiled. He grabbed his guitar and we went into the recording room that Dad had set up here, along with a small dance room for Mali.

We had practiced for at least two and a half hours, finally getting it perfect.

"But after we need to make a YouTube account for the both of us." Ed smiled, I smile back. Everything was going perfect. Just perfect.

I went over to my camera and out a ten second countdown. Ed grabbed his guitar, laying it on his laps as he say on the black stool. I sat on the one opposite of him, and the red light flashed telling us that we could start.

"Hi everyone, I'm Em and this is Ed, and we are going to cover a song called Crystals by Of Monsters and Men." We smiled at the camera, Ed started playing.

Lost in skies of powdered gold
Caught in clouds of silver ropes
Showered by the empty hopes
As I tumble down, falling fast to the ground

I sang, smiling at the camera as I took a deep breath.

I know I'll wither so peel away the bark
Because nothing grows when it is dark
In spite of all my fears, I can see it all so clear
I see it all so clear

I finished my part, then Ed started.

Cover your crystal eyes
And feel the tones that tremble down your spine
Cover your crystal eyes
And let your colours bleed and blend with mine

Making waves in pitch black sand
Feel the salt dance on my hands
Raw and charcoal coloured thighs feel so cold
And my skin feels so paper-thin

Then we both sang, our voices actually sounded really good together.

I know I'll wither so peel away the bark
Because nothing grows when it is dark
In spite of all my fears, I can see it all so clear
I see it all so clear

Cover your crystal eyes
And feel the tones that tremble down your spine
Cover your crystal eyes
And let your colours bleed and blend with mine

Then Ed stopped, and it was my turn.

But I'm okay in see-through skin
I forgive what is within
Because I'm in this house
I'm in this home
All my time

And Ed finished softly, his voice was angelic.

Cover your crystal eyes
And feel the tones that tremble down your spine
Cover your crystal eyes
And let your colours bleed and blend with mine.
