Lalna Coffee: Ultimate Matchmaker

Soon Lalna had a list of possible suspects for Nano's crush. It was all the people who sat where she stared, when she stared. A foolproof plan, probably. The problem was he had to write a new list every time. However, over time that had helped and the most common people over the lists course had been Xephos, Honeydew, Lomadia, and Nilesy. He knew she was good friends with Honeydew and Lomadia from whatever they did when they were doing there monster hunter project (as they called it) at Lomadia's, he suspected it was just girls night with Honeydew as an honorary guest, and the occasional visit from Nilesy, but he had no real clue. He didn't really know how she got on with Nilesy and she got on okayish with Xephos. It could be any of them, but he supposed it was most likely to be Lomadia or Honeydew. He wished he'd never took this on, but he was committed now. He'd solve the mystery and help Nano with her crush, hopefully soon, he didn't really have the patience for this sort of thing.

He didn't really think it was Nilesy, they didn't talk enough, so the first person he talked to about it was Nilesy.
"Nilesy can I ask your advice on something?"
"Sure pal, go ahead." Nilesy said cheerfully, thankfully Lalna had caught him at a good time
"Say if I thought my friend had a crush on someone how would I go about finding out who?" Lalna asked nervously.
"You're asking me about this. Seriously." Nilesy looked at Lalna like he was stupid, it made him uncomfortable, he wasn't used to being looked at that way
"Uh, yes? Why is that a problem?"
Nilesy sighed. " I can't believe I have to remind you. Im aromantic Lalna. This isn't really my thing."
"Ooooooh!" It suddenly dawned on Lalna this was a terrible idea. "But you'd still be able to help right? It doesn't stop you from recognising the signs?"
"Lalna if you weren't my friend I would punch you." Lalna flinched "But because you are my friend and I strongly suspect you're talking about Lomadia-"
"What? No." Lomadia? She had agreed to fake date Xephos, so Lalna had just assumed she was aromantic like Nilesy.
"You do remember that thing with Xeph isn't real right? Or did you forget that to." Nilesy looked very annoyed. Lalna really had made a mistake
"I didn't forget either thing! I just assumed she wasnt interested in all that either." Lalna explained hastily, trying not to offend Nilesy any more.
"Well she is. Christ you were right, I pick up on these things better than you apparently. But if you weren't talking about Lom, who were you talking about?" Nilesy questioned, his interest finally peaked. Lalna breathed an internal sigh of relief, maybe Nilesy would help after all
"Nano! Shes so distracted all the time and she keeps staring at someone in the corner, I have a list of who it could be and everything!" Lalna exclaimed proudly, fumbling in his labcoat pockets before handing him the crumpled up piece of paper.
Nilesy took one look at Lalna's list of subjects and quickly made a decision "I'll help."

Well, that went better than expected, even if he had potentially offended Nilesy to the point of ruining a friendship. Maybe this would be easier than he had thought? Oh who was he kidding, this was going to take a while.
