Chapter 3:
Nine months of hope and anticipation later...
Aunt's water broke a few minutes after midnight, while we were having a late night snack. I waited for hours outside the labour room hearing Aunt screaming and screeching out of pain. Actually it was more of her blaming Uncle for everything. Even the nurses walking around were chuckling hearing her comlplaints. Now, that's Aunt Ash for you.
After waiting for 5 agonizing hours, I heard Uncle whooping inside indicating the arrival of the new member of our family. After a few moments Uncle peeped out the door and indicated me to go in to the ward.
Sleeping in Uncle's arms was a cute baby girl, looking like an angel straight from heaven.
"Wow! Uncle she is beautiful! Congrats Uncle! You are Dad to an angel now!"
"Thanks sweety. You can Congratulate your aunt as soon as she is up. Isn't my daughter gorgeous?"
" Like I said Uncle she looks like an angel sent for us straight from heaven. And Uncle this angel does have an an awesome timing. She is born right on Valentine's Day, to spread love and happiness to the entire world. Mark my words Uncle she is going to rule the world."
" Just like you Princess. I want my Daughter to grow up and become..." Uncle's words were cut short by Angel's yawn.
Right at the moment when her eyes fluttered open, the first ray of light broke through the window illuminating the room. She looked at me and lit the whole room with her smile, making me squeak with excitement.

The whole of Sisodia Mansion was filled with happiness. A party was thrown for the homecoming of their Lil' Angel, their princess, Aithihya Sisodia. Yes, the angel that brought light back into their lives had been named Aithihya. But, was addressed by everyone at home as Angel.
She took after her mother in beauty and her father in strenght.
She brought back the smiles that were once lost. Now, it wasn't just fake smiles they put on now, their smiles reached their eyes.
" Uncle Raj, just let her grow up. I'll teach her everything a Princess should know. Archery, swords, martial arts, music, dancing, just name it."
"Well, calm down Princess. Let her first grow up. Anyways Princess I'm late for a party."
"Party? Uncle Raj you din't inform Aunt anything about that! She was planning on going out for dinner today!"
"Oh! I din't have plans until late evening. A friend of mine recieved a son on the very day Angel was born. He is throwing a party for the homecoming of his son. I would take you and your aunt but Angel is too small to be taken out so I guess it'll only me."
" Oh! Do convey our wishes to your friend Uncle"
" Sure",he said before turning around to leave. "Oh! And Princess a request from me and your aunt."
"Yes, Uncle anything"
"We would like it if you would call us mom and dad instead of uncle and aunt... If you don't mind that is"
"Aw! Uncle you guys have done so much for me. I definitely would be honored. You guys are already my Godparents."
"And one more thing Princess. Would you like to be Angel's Godmother? I guess Angel can wait for another two years until you turn 18 to have a godmother."
" Oh My God! Uncle...I mean Dad! Are you serious? That would be an honor!" She jumped up down with happiness... I guess it was her happiest day.
True to her name Angel did turn out to be an angel. She just brought back the old Ria. The Ria Nanda who was not just called Diva for name sake but who was truely a diva.
Back at school, Ria's Diva self being back she once again scored straight A's, excelled in dance, drama, music everything. And all the credit belonged to Angel. Because Ria wanted to be a role model for her Angel.
Everyone was once again happy. Gone were the days of sorrow and tears. Everyone's life was almost perfect. And once again all thanks to the Lil' Angel.
