I am just different

One band with only six sisters, not seven.

>Christina's POV<

"Come on! Hurry up!" I yell. It is seven o'clock and we are supposed to have a band meeting, I honestly don't know what takes them so long.

"I am here Christina!" I turned around and see my little baby sister sitting in an arm chair. "Oh, hey Emmi. I didn't see you there."

"Yeah, I figured," Emily replied, "What are we going to discuss Chrissie?"

"Eh, I don't think I am going to tell you."

"Aw, why not?"

"You know perfectly well why not, sweety." Emily stood up and walked to the door with a disappointed and angry look on here face. She stood there for a second and then turned around to me. 

"I really to think it's fair, Christina. Dani got to join the band at my age. I want to join too!"

"No, I am sorry Emily! Dani was two years older! And you just don't have the talent, okay? You just don't sing like the rest of us!" I shouted angry. She began to cry. Emily ran away.

Oh, what have I done? It is so heart breaking to see my little sister cry. Why did I get so angry?

"Christina! Where are you?" I could tell by her voice that Lisa was really angry.

"In the studio!" Lisa came into the room, followed by Amy, Lauren and Dani. "Where were you? And were is Katherine?" I asked, "I have been waiting for hours!"

"Katherine is upstairs, comforting Emily. I think you will be able to explain why..Right Christina?"

Lisa was very angry at me, I just couldn't take it anymore. All of a sudden, I began to cry too.

"I just couldn't help it. She was being so annoying!" Lisa put an arm around me. 

"You know Chrissie," Lisa started, less angry than before, "it is really hard for Emily. We all sing, the whole family does. You shouldn't be so mean. Of course, she has other talents, but we are her big sisters, we are her role models. She wants to be one of us. You really upset her by telling her she is talentless!"

"I didn't say that! I.."

Amy cut me of. "Just go upstairs, Christina. Tell her you are sorry."

"All right, but first I want to tell you something. We haven't done a cover for a long time. So how about filming one this afternoon? We really need to put up one! I was thinking about Wide Awake. It should be easy as Lauren and Dani have already covered it."

"Yeah that sounds good, I will get the vocals done!"

"Thanks Lise, I will go to Emily then."

>Katherine's POV<

The door opened and Christina stepped inside.ik schrok wakker

"Go out!" Emily yelled.

"Ems, I want to say sorry, I really.."

"Go out! This is my room!" I looked down at her. She laid in my arm, red eyes from crying.

"Please Emmi.."

"NO! GO AWAY! I DON'T EVER WANT TO SPEAK TO YOU AGAIN! NONE OF YOU! YOU TO KATHERINE, YOU ARE ALL THE SAME!"

"Emmi, please listen" I tried.

"NO!" Emily started pushing and slapping me. I quickly left the room. Christina had already left. I am glad mom and dad are in northern California and not here at home. They would be so angry at her. I stood in hallway listening to Emily. She was quiet again.

Christian, Nick and Joey walked up the stairs and knocked on the door.

"Hey, Emily. Do you want to come play with us?" "NO! LEAVE ME ALONE!"

"Guys, just go downstairs and leave her alone, she has a bit of a breakdown."

>Emily's POV<

I couldn't stop crying. I was so angry at Christina for not letting me in the band. Katherine and Lisa just kept telling me I have other talents. All my siblings can sing, they all play instruments. I just don't have any music talents. I don't have any talents at all.

"Emily, please open the door!" "No Lauren, leave me alone."

 "How about I paint your nails?" "No Lisa, leave me. I don't want to see you. You will damage my eyes."

"What if I.." "ALEX, GO AWAY!"

I haven't left my room since their band meeting. I will come out when mom and dad are here, then the girls will be in big trouble. My stomach is growling. I heard Katherine put food in front of my door but I refused to eat it, I think it is really nice of her, though. 

No one understands me. I am not part of the family, they no it. All my sisters are beautiful, they have beautiful voices and they are really popular. I am just me, myself, just Emily.

I thought back of what happened yesterday when we went to the park with the whole family. While the rest was at the play ground I went to get the ball which I had kicked into the bushes. A guy came walking to me. He was at least fifteen, I think. 

"Hey, aren't you a Cimorelli?"

"Yes." I said proud.

"You are a girl aren't you? Why are you not in the band?" I have never thought of that. I am a girl, I am a Cimorelli, why am I not in the band? 

"Well, maybe I know why?" he said. I looked questioningly at him. "You are a silly little girl. You aren't as beautifull and I bet your voice isn't either." 

I felt tears filling my eyes. "What was your name again?"

"Emily..Emily Sophia Cimorelli." I said it in a quiet voice. The boy wasn't so nice as I thought he was.

"Well, Emily. I don't think you really  belong in this family." I saw Lisa coming to me. The boy quickly ran away.

"Who was that Emily?"

"Oh, I don't know."

"What did he say? Did he do anything to you? Are you hurt?"

"No, Lise. I am fine."
