I am just different

She is gone

>Lauren's POV<

I looked at the clock. 07:00 AM. The rest must be still asleep. I carefully opened the door to the balcony, making sure not to wake up Lisa or Dani, who were still snoring. 

A warm breeze blew through my hair. A beautiful morning. I noticed Emily's window was open. Maybe she's already awake. I walked to her window and looked into her room. It was full with toys but there was no sign of Emily. 

I walked down the stairs into the kitchen. To the living room. To the bathroom. To the garden. To the study. To the washroom. To her room again. To Christina's, Katherine's and Amy's room. To my room. No sign of Emily, nowhere in or around the house. 

I rushed to Lisa's bed. "LISA! LISA! WAKE UP!"

"Lauren what is going on?" Dani asked sleepily. Lisa opened her eyes too.

"Emily, she is gone! I can't find her! I have looked everywhere!" Christina, Katherine and Amy came also into our room.

"It is probably one of our hide-and-seek games." "No Amy! She is reallly gone!"

We spend the full morning looking for her. Eventually we had no other choice, we called the police. In the meantime Lisa and Amy drove around the town, hoping to catch any sign of Emily. 

In the late afternoon we were all sitting around the table. Amy was crying. Katherine was comforting her. Lisa just stared out of the window. Dani held her head between her hands with her eyes closed. I could tell she had cried too. Christina was calling everybody in town, asking for Emily. She had also called our parents. Mom was on her way with all the boys, she should arrive in about five hours. Dad had to stay there, he said he would come immediately when he is finished. 

I didn't know what to say or what to do. I stood in the doorway looking at all my sisters. I can't believe it, my little baby sister, little Emmi, she is gone. 

>Christina's POV<

It was around twelve o'clock, almost midnight. I called every single contact. Still nog sign of Emily. There still wasn't any sign of Jaimy either. I wonder if they are together, if he indeed kidnapped her. 

If had just paid a little more attention to here. Than she had still be with us. If I let her sleep with me, than I would have noticed here leaving. I am a very light sleeper, I can't believe I missed her. 

Mom said it isn't my faulth. She blames herself. We all blame ourselves. We all knew something was wrong with her, we all knew she had something to do with Jaimy and we just let it go.

I checked the phone again. No call from the police, nor from anybody else.
