>Emily's POV<

I woke up by a ticking sound. I think some one was knocking at my window. I looked at my watch, it read 3 o'clock. I should still be asleep, otherwise I won't manage to do my homework.

It is now four days ago that I told my sisters about Jaimy. The police still didn't find him, but actually, I don't really care. Since I told my sisters I am less worried. I don't have to worry about coming late to our meetings in the bushes, and with my sisters around I also don't have to worry about Jaimy coming back.

The days I met him in the park I was angry at my older sisters. Jaimy convinced me that they are all pretty and smart and I am not. I still think he is right, but I don't really care anymore.

I walked to my window and opened the curtains. I was so frightened by the image I saw in front of me, I almost screamed. I held my hand for my mouth so I wouldn't wake the rest up.

Jaimy was standing on the balcony. His clothes were all ripped and he had scars on his face. My sisters were right he was planning to come back. But where are my sister now? They said they would protect me. I am to afraid to wake them up. One time I did because there was a spider in my room, they were really angry with me. I had better handle this myself.

Jaimy lips were moving, I couldn't here what he was saying. I opened the window and he climbed through it, in my room.

"What have you done?" He yelled. I gestured him to be quiet. "You shouldn't have told your sisters about me! The police is looking everywhere! I had a hard time to escape."

"Why do you have to escape? You are innocent right?"

"Eh, yeah, right. Still you shouldn't have told your sisters. They hate you even more now!"

He walked closer to me. I could feel him breathing in my face. His breath stank, I bet he didn't brush his teeth for years. He knelled down, his face was now only two centimeters away from mine.

"They have a small," he spat in my face while he was talking, "ugly, dumb sister who hangs around with some stranger. Don't you see how ashamed they are?"

He was right. They have the right to be ashamed of me. Their stupid sister made friends with a stranger she met in the park! And she can't even sing! All the anger and shame of the last days came out. I was shaking uncontrollably, not sure if it was because I was crying or because I was so mad.

"Hey babe," Jaimy said, "It's okay. I have made a plan how we can escape both the police and your sisters. You won't have to worry about them anymore, you will have a better life! We can take my car and drive to the east, my uncle lives there!

Run away with Jaimy and leave my sisters? It as pretty smart idea but I don't want to, I want to stay here. But Jaimy was already climbing through the window.

"Come on Emily! You aren't scared are you?" I had no clue what was going on. My mind went blank.

I saw my sisters in front of me, looking sad. A saw my parents and my brothers. I felt someone lifting me in the air, through the window with the flower printed curtains, into the dark night.
