>Emily's POV<

I opened my eyes, my head really hurts. When I looked around I didn't realise where I was. Not in my room, that's for sure. I was in a car which was hidden between some trees. I didn't really look like it was hidden, more like it crashed. I looked at my watch, 02:00 PM.

I stepped out of the car. I saw a backpack lying at the back seat. When I opened it I saw an old mobile, which I remembered as Jaimy's, and a wallet with four hundred dollars in it. That is a lot! I didn't know Jaimy had that money.

I don't exactly remember everything that had happened yesterday, or was it longer ago? I remember Jaimy lifting me up, saying he knew a place for a better life. That's all.

A women came running to me. "Are you okay?"

"Eh, yeah I am fine."

"I have seen it happen! Are you sure you are not hurt? Who was that guy?"

The women was a bit plump, she had blond hair and she was pretty tall. Her blue eyes looked worried. "Your friend ran away, I tried to stop him. Telling him he forgot you."

"Eh, I don't think he forgot me," I tried to think, why would Jaimy ran away? Maybe didn't want to be seen by the police.

"Come on sweetheart, what is your name?"

"Emily Sophia."

"Come in my car, I will drive you to my home where we will sort the rest out, okay?" I know my sisters didn't allow me to go with strangers but I already went with Jaimy. How worse can it get?

After twenty minutes on the highroad we arrived in New York. I recognized it immediately as I had been there once for a concert of my sisters. The women told all about herself while she was driving. Her name was An Smiths. Her husband died last year and now she lives alone in an apartment  in New York. To get money she works as a teacher on a primary school.

"So, Emily." She said. We were sitting on her couch and drinking tea. "Where do you live? Who was that guy? A friend?"

I have come so far. From California to New York, didn't even know how I managed to, it's a pretty long drive. There is no way I am now going back to my family. Even though I really want to, they will be laughing at me and calling me stupid. They will be fine without me, like they even care.

"Jaimy was my uncle. My parents died last year."

"Aw, I am so sorry. Do you ever other family?"

"No."

"I invite you to stay with me. I have got a room left, you can go to the school were I teach. How old are you?"

"I am eight, or no, maybe I am nine, I don't know what day it is.

"It is the the 24th of March."

"Really?" I have been in the car so long, I didn't Even realise. "Today is my birthday!"

"Well you are lucky! Let's go to the mall and buy a lot of presents and clothes for you! I suppose you didn't bring any?" I shook my head.

I should be very thankful. I escaped my sisters, I escaped Jaimy, now I have a good place to live. I didn't even think of my family anymore.

>Lynne's POV<

It is two week ago since the girls woke up without Emily. A couple of days ago we celebrated her birthday, but not as we usually do it. Not with presents, just thinking about her.

We have driven a lot of times to San Fransisco and Los Angeles these weeks. Asking everybody for a little girl who looked a lot like Dani. No one has seen her, she might be dead.

The girls have asked their CimFam to keep a look out but they have stopped making music, they couldn't do it anymore.

I miss my little baby girls so much! I know the others do too. I have been praying to God to get her back. Still no sign of her. Our lives need to continue so Mike and Michael started working again. I started with homeschooling. Christina and Katherine went back to school too, Christina to study psychology and Katherine English. I will keep looking for her, I won't give up. She is my daughter and she belongs to our family!
