I am just different

Almost as a family

>Emily's POV<

It was shocking for me to hear all the girl's stories. I never thought I affected them so much. It was not that big of a deal, was it? It obviously was for them. I felt really guilty, it's my fault that they are all crying now, my fault that that didn't see each other for years. 

I couldn't take it anymore, all their sad stories and thoughts. I needed to see them. I decided now was a good time to jump in. I opened the door, all my sisters stopped talking. I saw the faces, the faces I missed for ten years. They all looked shocked and they all had red, puffy eyes from crying. 

Katherine, Amy and Dani jumped up and put their arms around me, they hugged me so tight, I could barely breath. 

"Emmi! Where have you been?"

"How did you come here?"

"We missed you so much!" 

All sorts of questions came out of their mouths. I didn't answer them, not yet. I looked to Christina and Lisa, who have been quiet the whole time. They stood up and hugged me too. It felt good to be hugged by all my sisters again. 

We all sat down and I told them the whole story. I told how I was scared to face them again, how Justin left me and how Ann adopted me. 

It was almost two o'clock, middle of the night, when we were got tired and decided to go to bed. Amy and Dani wanted to leave for a hotel but Lisa, Katherine and Christina didn't know where to go in the middle of the night. So Lauren invited them to sleep with us in her apartment. We moved more matresses to the livingroom.

Even though we were tired we kept talking. It was so cosy. Dani and I lay on the couch and the rest on the floor. At five o'clock I closed my eyes. My sisters kept talking to me, I didn't have the strenght to respond anymore.

"Hey, Emmi. How did Lauren actually find you?" Amy asked me.

"Shh, I think she is asleep." Lauren said.

"Aw, that is cute. The little one is the first to be asleep." Katherine said. 

"It must have been an exhausting day for her, seeing us all again." Lisa responded.

"I sure have missed you all. It's been an exhausting day for me too, I am going to sleep aswell." Dani laid on her back, closed her eyes and snorred really loud. All the other girls laughed, including Dani who sat up again. 

"It's almost feels as a family again, doesn't it?" Chrisitna laughed. Everyone else nodded. Lauren turned the lights off and I could feel her stroke my head before she fell asleep. 

Christina was right, it did feel as a family again. My family.
