By noon Dean has both his and Castiel's vehicles tuned and prepped to top notch. Dean shines up his Impala before Cas walks over.
"You comin' garage boy?" Cas asks.
"It's Dean." Dean scoffs in reply.
"You get name privilages if you win." Cas informs.
"Then let's go, bitch." Dean mocks. He slides in his Impala and meets Cas in the parking lot.
"Back road! Double lanes, clear to go." Cas yells through the window. Dean knows the backroads like the back of his hand. He smirks as he revs his engine. Benny waves them off in a count down.

Dean steps on the gas and takes a controlled drift out of the parking lot to the backroads. He takes it at a steady pace as Cas is a few meters behind him. They reach the backroad and both step on it. Cas lets his foot off the gas slightly as him and Dean are neck and neck. Dean stays focused on the road, driving with one hand. He looks calm and safe. Dean pulls ahead and after the 10 miles of stretch. Cas steps on the gas fully. He pulls ahead with ease and drifts to a stop at a crossroad. Dean pulls off a perfect 180 drift to park.
"Good one." Cas comments as he slides out of the car.
"As the winner. What would you like to receive?" Dean asks.
"A date with you." Cas demands immediately.
"What?" Dean looks terrified.
"You heard me." Cas says.
"My dad would kill me. Literally kill me." Dean leans on the hood of the Impala.
"Come on. just one. If you like it, we'll figure something out." Cas explains. Dean stays silent, staring at the abandoned road.
"Deal." He says nodding to Cas. He slips a pen out of his pocket and slips Cas's shirt up.
"Text me when you want to go. Later, Cas. Good race." Dean comments before getting in the Impala and driving back down the road. Cas watches him leave until his car is a meer shiny spot on the horizon.
Cas slips his phone out of his pocket and scrolls through his short list of contacts until he decides. His next decision is to call. He presses the green phone option and holds his cell phone up to his ear. 5 rings and an answer.
"Hello?" The voice asks.
"Kevin, it's Cas." Cas turns to walk towards his car door.
"Oh, hey Cas. What's up?" Kevin asks.
"I finally got a date with Dean." Cas says opening his car door.
"Winchester?" Kevin questions.
"No, Smith," Cas says sarcastically. "Yes, Winchester, want your car back?" Cas asks.
"It's my dad's." Kevin reminds.
"Right. Be there in ten." Cas instructs before hanging up and tossing his phone on the seat.
"Finally." Cas whispers.

Castiel noticed Dean around 3 months ago, working in the garage. He would occasionally see him working or walking around town. He had a little brother in which he protected like a breifcase worth ten million dollars. Cas noticed that Dean knows a lot of city people. Street venders, convenience store owners, office managers. He would always help out around from place to place.

Dean wasn't bad in appearance, personality might seem as though it could be different.

Castiel would find out tonight.
