"Dean, where is my five hundred dollars?!" John yells. He storms towards Dean who has just entered through the front door. It is pouring cats and dogs outside.
"I don't have it today." Dean says.
"That doesn't work for me kid!" John has a wicked grin on his face. He gulps down the last of his beer, flips the bottle and swings at Dean's head.

"Dean!" A voice calls. Dean jolts awake so fast that he falls down the stairs.
"Ouch." Dean grumbles. He stands up carefully as his leg aches.
He grabs the last box in the basement and drags it upstairs.
"What?!" Dean yelps as he opens the door and violently throws the box into the yard.
"Did you even sleep?" Cas asks appearing behind Dean. Dean jumps backwards and hits the wall.
"Jesus, Cas. Yes, I got," Dean looks at his watch, "three hours." He confirms.
"You look horrible." Cas informs.
"Thanks." Dean says with a flat tone and giving Cas a bitchface.
"Come on." Cas says. He trots upstairs easily but Dean stands staring at the stairs.
"I'll stay down here and keep cleaning!" Dean says, reluctant to admit that he can't go up another flight of stairs.
"Leg hurt?" Cas asks.
"No!" Dean says sounding insulted. He gingerly steps down the last few stairs and travels to the small living area. He walks to the couch set against the far wall and lays down.
"You are a horrible liar." Cas informs from the door. Dean jumps again and sighs.
"Can I help you with something?" Dean asks. Cas walks over to Dean and leans down.
"Sam and I are going to school." Cas whispers.
"Right. It's Monday. I have to call Benny about work." Dean sighs.
"Yeah, you should do that." Cas says handing Dean his phone.
"Thank you." Dean groans.
"You're welcome. Bye, Dean." Cas says walking away.
"Have a good day at school, babe." Dean says as he flips his phone open. Cas pauses.
"What did you just call me?" Cas asks with a sly grin.
"Uh.. Babe?" Dean repeats.
"Okay." Cas says nodding.
"What?" Dean accuses.
"Nothing. I like it when you say that." Cas says before vanishing upstairs.
"I'll have to do it more then." Dean tells himself. He scrolls through his contacts until he finds Benny and calls.
"Hey kid. Sup?" Benny answers.
"Hey, I can't come to work. My dad shot me." Dean gets straight to the point.
"Is this an excuse or is this literal?" Benny asks.
"Literal. My dad shot me twice with a pistol." Dean says.
"Are you okay?!" Benny yips.
"Yeah, Ben. I'm fine. I just can't come to work today." Dean informs again.
"Alright. I'll come around lunch to check on you." Benny informs.
"Alright. Bring some burgers." Dean adds.
"Alright, later kid." Benny says and the line goes dead. Dean sighs and drops his phone on the ground. He looks around the wood panel room. It makes it look like a small cabin.
"Huh." Dean says to himself. He stands and his leg strains him as he crawls upstairs. He opens the computer and begins his search.

The bell rings to signal the end of the day and Cas grabs his bag and bolts out of school ignoring all the people trying to talk to him. He meets Sam out front and they start walking. Cas looks down to Sam's shoulder.
"What's that bruise on your shoulder?" Cas asks. Sam runs his hand over a large spot the size of his hand that is black, purple, green, blue and yellow.
"It's from when Dean threw me into the hallway." Sam explains.
"He threw you into the hallway?" Cas asks, confused.
"Yeah, when he got shot. He threw me into the hallway to protect me. He got shot. The worst I got is a bruise. I can't even feel it so it's okay." Sam reassures.
"Okay." Cas notes that Dean was the one who saved Sam, and risked his life doing it. Sam sees the house and makes a beeline around the Impala checking it out and running his fingertips along it before running into the house.
"Dean!" Sam calls. Dean is standing at the front door and Sam runs at him with his arms open and Dean stumbles backwards, setting his hand on Sam's back but never once removing his gaze from Castiel. A gentle smile tugs the corners of Dean's mouth up and he looks away shyly.
"How was school?" Dean asks.
"Good." Castiel replies leaving out the part where he thought about Dean all day.
"I gotta talk to you two about something." Dean says.
"Okie dokie." Sam and Cas says in unison.
"What would you guys think about moving to a house in the mountains?" Dean asks.
"YES!" Sam yells.
"Jesus." Dean jumps.
"'You guys'?" Castiel asks.
"Yes, Cas. I want you to come too." Dean says.
"That involves going to.. Canada." Castiel says slowly and puts an expression of worry on his face.
"Yeah. I mean. If you dont want to then Sam and I can stay here with y-" Dean begind to explain.
"Yes. I'll go." Castiel replies looking at Dean with a serious expression.
"Awesome." Dean smiles.
"When will we go?!" Sam asks.
"Two weeks. I gotta go to Bobby's and get one of his old trucks though. Fix it of course. Since he is dead." Dean sighs.
"I'll come." Cas says.
"Okay. You can drive the truck back. Sam mind staying here alone for around 3 and a half hours?" Dean asks.
"I'll go do my homework and watch TV or something." Sam suggests.
"I could take you to my house. You can play with-"
"GABE!" Sam yelps, cutting off Cas.
"Okay then. Let's go." Cas suggests.
"We'll be back. I live three blocks over." Cas says. Dean nods and looks down at his leg.
"I'll be here." Dean says and shuts the door behind Sam and Cas.
"Be good Sammy!" Dean shouts as he whips open the door.
"I will!" Sam responds. Dean leans against the doorframe and watches Cas and Sam run down the block.
"Nice ass, Cas." Dean comments to himself.
