"Why the hell would you do that?" Oliver yelled at Alex. She stared unfazed at him "I was only helping out. He needed to be taught a lesson. You're my friend and you needed that."

Luckily the party had ended and Oliver was somewhere up the stairs with Alex in one of the summer rooms on the second floor, far from his parents room. So he could shout as loud as he damn well pleased.

Oliver glared at her "Well it could have caused something." He just didn't want to divulge into what.

She sighed "Look Oliver I was only trying to look out for you. And I thought helping you show off to the guy who hurt you would make you feel better. Showing him that he couldn't hurt you anymore."

He sighed at his friend "It's only helping when I ask you to. Not when you do it without letting me know."

"I asked her to." Liams voice echoed through the room. Alex glanced at him as he walked into the room "And I'll just leave you guys alone."

Traitor, He thought as he watched his friend leave the room and his boyfriend walked in.

"Why would you tell her to do that?" Oliver asked in a softer voice but not less annoyed than before.

Liam sat down on the light yellow couch "Because Alex is right. He needs to see you and know that he can never hurt you again. And you never told me who he was anyway, so I wanted to know."

"And that was for a reason." Oliver stressed rubbing his face with his hands. The whole situation with his boyfriend and friend meddling frustrated him to no end. He had refused to tell them about his recent run-ins with Harvey for this very reason.

Liam stood up and walked to him "He hurt you Oliver. That son of a bitch hurt you and broke you until I found you again and you expect me to just let that go? Isn't that reason enough?"

He felt a bit touched at Liams words knowing where he was coming from.

"I get why you did it. But Alex had no right to tell you about him when I clearly told her not to tell anyone else." Oliver tried to explain.

Liam placed both hands on Oliver's face "I know but she did it also for a good cause. Because she also cares about you."

Oliver sighed hugging into his chest "I know and I appreciate that about you. So can you please just forget it now?"

Liam pulled away "Why are you so adamant about letting that guy go? After all he's done to you?"

Oliver folded his hands across his chest "You don't understand."

"Or do you still want him? Is that it?" Oliver cringed as the other mans voice took a hardened tone.

He hated it when Liam got doubtful of their relationship. Granted, he'd never really told him about his full past with Harvey or how they really met. That was a truth that no one else knew but the two parties involved.

Oliver placed his hands around Liams neck "No babe. He's my past. He's in the past but you're my future. My only future. And I don't want anyone else. " He murmured to his lips, kissing him softly. Liam eased into the kiss quite quickly wrapping his arms around Oliver and holding him close to himself.

Oliver pulled away "See? Now can you please stop trying to pursue this guy? For me?"

Liam sighed but nodded hesitantly "Only because it's what you want."

"Thank you. I just want to forget about him forever. And. Focus. On. Us." Oliver said kissing his boyfriend in between each word. His voice had taken sensual dip and Liam was eager enough at that and began kissing him with a greater urgency and need.
