| I know it's been a long time since I updated this book but please don't be mad. I was just trying to get everything back together with the plot and all. Hope you all understand. Hopefully there will be more frequent updates now that I've got the plot together.|

It's so hard trying to convince yourself to hate someone especially after you'd just given yourself to them in the most intimate manner ever. And it wasn't even sex. After you'd poured out your everything right into them.

Oliver sighed to himself as he got into his white Audi to drive to school. When Horton asked him for his pick of a car when he'd turned seventeen, he bypassed all the Porche's and Maserati's to go straight for the Audi. It had been his dream car for as long as he remembered.

There was a certain blonde to thank for that obsession.

His heart thumped in remembrance of the previous night. None of them had truly understood its meaning or where they would go from here. Even Oliver wasn't sure if he had made the right decision forgiving Harvey, or if he had even truly forgiven Harvey in his heart. All he knew was that being back in his arms had felt so deliriously right again. Even though it probably wasn't the right choice for either of them.

He gripped the steering wheel harder. He didn't want to think about it anymore.

Especially after Liam had kissed him on the mouth before leaving with a whispered "I love you." He didn't want to think about how that had been Harvey's lips on his a few hours ago.

This was all he had wanted to avoid. This new life with supposed to be clearer. It was supposed to come without complications. Granted, he'd brought it on himself when he mentally waged war on Harvey and decided to ruin him.

But again he'd underestimated his feelings at first. That was his mistake. Thinking that he could get over what they shared with just the snap of two fingers. Liam had certainly assumed that and Oliver had gladly let him reach that assumption. That was enough thinking for the morning.

He drove right into the school's parking lot and felt a slight shiver when he realized that he had parked two cars away from a familiar looking silver Porche Cayenne. Just as he got out, Oliver could hear the whispers and feel all the eyes burning into his skin. Why was is such human nature to gossip? Ever since his arrival, people had stared and made sure to gossip tirelessly about him.

It was definitely because of his status as a Tanner. It was quite amusing.

He was truly being honest to his mother when he told her that really didn't have any friends. Sure it seemed obvious that he could randomly pick one of these hawkers and christen as a friend and they would go about it with undoubted loyalty. However, he never really had many friends in his life and didn't think it was such a huge void that needed to be filled with a plentiful source of fake beings.

Before maybe two years ago, these same people would have treated him as though he wasn't worth the gum on their shoe. And some of them had already, even if they couldn't recall it. The irony was not lost on him.

Oliver went to his locker to pick up the books for his first period and also toss in his car keys.

"Hey! Oliver!" He heard a voice shout out from behind him. Startled, he turned back to see Kale Evans grinning at him.

"Oh. Hello." He greeted calmly. Oliver was nothing if not polite.

Beside him was a girl with pink hair and a skirt shorted than what Ollie guessed were the school's requirements, and none other than Harvey himself. The fiend had his hands stuffed inside his pockets in the most nonchalant way and his blonde hair usually in a stylish quiff, falling over his temple.
