Trying to update this book as much as I can. Love it too much.

Song - Ex's and Oh's - Elle King

-------------------------

"Are you alright love?" Liam's gentle tone brought Oliver's mind back from the reins of deep thought. He nodded "Yes. Sorry, just a little out of it."

"Anything happen at school today?" Liam asked further wanting to know the cause of his boyfriend's absentmindedness since they'd arrived at his apartment that afternoon. He'd been neck-deep in work for the better part of the morning but managed to get it all sorted lunch time so that he could spend the rest of the day with Oliver. However, the boy in question had been nothing short of gloomy since he asked to be picked up earlier, saying that he wasn't feeling well.

"Actually....." Oliver trailed. His lips were tempted to spill everything about Harvey, to say everything that had transpired between them since Oliver had transferred to John Prescott. To reveal the guilt he felt for kissing Harvey amongst other things on three separate occasions. To tell him how ashamed he felt for liking and longing for it just like in the past.

"It's not a big deal. There's just this annoying teacher who doesn't like to cut me any slack even though I'm new." He said instead with an exaggerated smile "That's all."

"Oh." Liam said in relief glad that it was nothing serious "You shouldn't let him get to you babe. Besides you're really smart, you'll get past anything he throws at you."

Oliver laughed "I hope so. He's an absolute slave-driver."

Liam kissed his knuckles "You will, love. Trust yourself a little more."

Normally Liam's kisses were enough to make him forget everything and everyone but Oliver couldn't get the scene that occurred in the bathroom out of his head despite the warm plump lips caressing his hand. After Harvey had come out to tell him that Jake wasn't going to tell everyone, it only made him angrier because it meant that it was all Harvey cared about.

His reputation.

People never changed it seemed.

No matter how much he wished that Harvey would let go of his pride for a moment to be true to himself, it proved to be only a wild dream.

If only he hadn't fallen in love with him all those years ago.

If only he had been firmer when Harvey had first spoken his real name and remained not swayed by the softness he'd never seen in a man before Horton, then maybe his heart would have still been his to keep. No matter what Oliver told himself, he knew that at least half of his heart had already been lost forever.

If only Harvey had actually lived up to his golden boy persona by being straight.

"Are you still tired?" Liam asked mouthing his earlobe.

Oliver closed his eyes "A little. Maybe I should take a nap."

"Of course." Liam agreed immediately. "Do you want anything for when you wake up?"

Oliver gently shook his head "I'll let you know when I do wake up ok?" He kissed the older man for a few seconds before lying down on the large bed they had sitting on. He groaned placing his head on a pillow before closing his eyes.

Liam couldn't help stroking Oliver's forehead as the boy slowly succumbed to sleep. He kissed him muttering "I love you." Before standing up and heading to the home office in his apartment. Most people would look down on him for having such a young boyfriend. Maybe it was wrong, but with Oliver he had learned not to care about what people said.
