Zain's POV

"Mr.Tasim, you have a visitor, goes by the name of James," my new assistant, Ryan steps into my fathers office where I were to be new owner, "uh- James Pultz, he's the owner of Maze Cosmetics Company." He looks up from his clipboard.

"Hmh let him in," I sit up in my chair signing my name on some contracts.

"Zain, hey!" I put my pen down to that familiar voice and look up.

"Ja-James it's you?" I stand up in shock. I was surprised I didn't even take a sudden thought of it being him, my old roomie, but he changed his last name, Pultz.
I take a better look at him, he wore a slim blue suit over a well built body. His hair was cut shorter than I remember, it made him look like a true business man, not to be stereotypical. Images of him as my roommate started to flick into my eyes, along with memories. Sadly the one which was like a boulder on top of my head right now had to do with Fatima.

I shake my thoughts off and walk over to him. He pulls his arm out for a handshake. "Hey yeah how's it been?"

"James? How's it been, it's been going great but what are you doing here?" I ask.

"I came to see you, meet up with an old friend, you know? And I hope you've forgiven me for what I did in the past but I'm a new man."

"Oh yeah of course, how's it been? What have you been doing?"

"Good, and I don't know if you heard but after our last year of college my father passed away leaving everything to me,"

His father the billionaire, "oh I'm so sorry."

"So yeah now I'm the owner of a worldwide cosmetics company, Maze. Also laying off of my father leftovers, I own a house in California, and Las Vegas, including my mothers home, which is in Ohio, and a home here in Chicago."

I smirk, way to show it off, "wow man, you really got it going huh?"

He smiles his million dollar smile, "what could I say?"-You've already said so much. "Anyways how's it going with the wife?" He asks with no expression.

"Fatima, it's going great with her, were expecting a child."

"Oh starting a family, good for you."

"How about you? Got anyone?"

He looks at his watch, "I actually gotta get going right now, it was nice seeing you."

"Oh okay, how about you come over? We have some more to talk about, even though lots happened and it's been a while, were still ol' roomies."

He laughs, "your right, sure cool."

After giving him my address and exchanging numbers he left and I sat back down and took a deep breath. Really didn't expect to see him anytime soon. He looked so grown up, like a man, not the boy he used to be. But the same thought kept flooding my memory again, there was once a time when he wanted my wife.

Fatima's POV

I take a look in the mirror. Standing to the side, with one arm on my hip, I examine the size of my belly, which sadly wasn't even there. I took another look, "strutting" different ways. It's been hard, I've felt different because with all morning sickness and emotions I feel almost rotten but also angry with the fact that I don't feel or look pregnant. Along with that I've even been getting cramps and a lot of pain.
