I expected my Friday to be all rainbows and sunshine, to end the week off on a good note with high unrealistic expectations. That being said, Mother Nature did not agree with me that morning. The temperatures dropped even more since yesterday, I've upgraded from my worn out red converse to officially warm boots that were specifically made for fall. The minute I got inside the school, everyone's noses were red and their faces were flushed without colour.
"Wow, your red nose really brings out the colour of your...What?! What's this? Aurora isn't wearing her red converse? The world must be coming to an end!" Seth dramatically performed by slamming against the lockers beside mine, followed by a heavy chuckle. His hair was tucked behind his ears and was patted down with a navy blue beanie bringing out the gloss in his eyes."Ha, ha, very funny. I see I'm not the only one into the whole fall collection look." I responded before opening my locker and grabbing my English textbook.
"Of course. The whole school is in on it, in fact, I've seen numerous girls rocking the uggs and leggings look while the boys simply join in with their flannels and beanies."
"Stereotypical autumn collection?"
"Indeed my young grasshopper." I grinned before I felt a tap on my shoulder and craned my neck, only to spot hayes smirking.
"Morning sunshine, did you dream of me?" I shook my head. "Well look what came and rose from the dead. Have a good sleep I assume?" He wore a grey v neck sweater which he folded up at his elbows and black denim jeans. Does this guy have a black Denim Jean collection?
"You were in my dream, therefore, I would be a liar if I said I didn't enjoy it." He made a clicking sound with his tongue and managed to wink while doing so. My cheeks lightly burned as Seth made the 'casual' ahem sound which woke my common sense.
"Oh, uh, Seth, hayes, he's new around here. Hayes, Seth." I pointed out. They exchanged a 'bro shake' almost as if they had met each other before.
"So I hear you're coming along." Hayes noted.
"Oh? Where to?" Seth responded
"Aurora's little journey to find her Prince Charming."
"Ah, yeah, I don't know how she'll go through with it but I'm down for some reckless nights."
"Finally someone who understands me!" Hayes exclaimed excited with his eyes more awake
"I think you and I will get along just fine." Seth grinned and they went into a bro hug. I awkwardly stood beside them as I encountered several stares.
"If you guys are done with this bromance I'd like to get to class." I pushed passed them and they guffawed before parting.
"I'll see you later Aurora." Seth insisted
"Later R." Hayes mimicked

If English class was taught by Dylan O' Brien or Jensen Ackles I would definitely be paying much more attention than needed, but instead, I had to listen to boring old Mr Turner rant on about the problems of the world and today's generation for an hour. I still hadn't forgotten Cora's story about Mr Turner Observing her chest every ten seconds. The thought only brought shivers down my spine.Despite the dread less hours in class I finally made it through the first half of the school day and was free for about over an hour for lunch. I sat at an empty lunch table waiting for someone who i knew to join me, in addition to that I multitasked by devouring potato chips that god knows will get revenge on my skin later, meaning breaking out with acne but I was too busy to care. I tapped my ballpoint pen against the notepad as I tried to brainstorm ideas on how exactly I would find Jack.
