When I Need Warmth
I can look
It a crystal ball
And see what it is
That i already know
I can have my palm read
And be given my fate
Which is always changeable
And obvious
I can write down
My lifelong story
Into a book
Guess my ending
But almost already know
I can look for you
For an eternity
Even after my life has ended
And my heart gave way
I can look for myself
Till the wheels fall off
And wonder where my life
Was meant to take me
I can look for warmth
In the coldest of places
Knowing that there really
Is none left
I can look for all answers
The all my unresponded
Questions but
I may never find them
I can look for immortality
Knowing that one
Day i'd be ready to go
With the same desire to know
What the meaning of my life
