A Snow Angel From God
i'll always remember last christmas
when i was told i might die
the worry and stress it brought me
often led me to cry
Then god sent me an angel
He was perfect
everything i'd need
he'd make great of my last holiday
this i knew indeed
God had sent me love
He made me smile
made me laugh
my christmas this year was going down the right path
I'd want him beside me when i have to go
Today God had sent me snow
When my angel granted me three wishes
i had not to wish for
i was happy as i was
I was waiting for heaven so i could explore
That night God had sent me doves
I said one, i want it to snow every christmas
i said two i want you to stay here
and i said three i want to live
And all three of the wishes he did give
That afternoon god had sent me black roses and a plentiful tear
After christmas i awoke
unlike the words the doctors spoke
my angel left
he flew away
God had given me a new chance to experience night and day
I've waited for days
seasons and weeks
and in my mind
his kind words he continuously speaks
Soon after god had sent me a message
it read my child he is not gone
and soon he will be home
will be your snow angel now
you wont have to be alone
At that moment god had sent me reassurance
I've alked through these days
and now that christmas is almost here
i will greet my snow angel
with many a tear
When god sends me my angel
