What is Love?

I'm not waiting

Even though it's been years

I was young when I promised

My heart drowned with fears

Even though I had these children alone

I knew I hadn't done it on my own

I lost my Grandfather and father to this country

To the wars this world brings

The wind chimes you gave me still rings

You're twins are now three, and they never say your name

Only Mommy, mommy, mommy

I need you back

So much I could cry

I just can't believe that God won't let you die

You write me often

You call me to

You cry through the phone

My waiting is through

These children need a father

So I am letting you go

I love you more than ever, but this fate you must know

I do not want them to meet you

So please go away

These are no longer your children

They have begun a new life

Even though it may be ridden

I will always be your wife

I will think of you when I kiss him

I will dream of you at night

When I say my vows

They are for you

When he holds my hands

I will feel your skin

When I say I love

Dear God it will be sin

For I love him to death

And may death do us part

I don't ever want to leave him

This is coming from my heart

He is my sky and my sun

He is the rain to my sea

He is the melody to my song

And my one lost key

He is my soul and my heart

I can't leave this feeling behind

But dear god

If you'll only be kind

Let him know of this fate

Tell him my due date

I will name this baby boy after him

I will kiss his eyes

So he can see

The only person

Meant for me...

This Is Love
