A Jirachi's Only Wish

The Lesson

"J-jirachi?" she tried to repeat.

Arceus nodded in delight,"Yes! You got it! But you need a nickname." He thought for a second and then looked up at the stars. "Hm... How about Celeste?" He asked her.

The little Jirachi looked at him, confused.

Then Arceus laughed," Oh, I forgot you're just a little one. In that case, I'll need help taking care of you, Celeste."

He looked at the earth and focused and within minutes, the earth was covered with hundreds of Pokemon of all varieties.

Arceus whispered to Celeste,"I'll be right back." He flew down to welcome all of the Pokemon to his new world. Celeste was left alone... Or so she thought.

A moon-shaped Pokemon appeared behind her. "Hello, I'm Luna the Cresselia," the Pokemon said to Celeste.

Celeste looked at her, a little startled by the sudden approach. Luna laughed. "Well? Do you talk? Or are you just going to sit there? Arceus created me to watch over you and mentor you."

Celeste just looked at her, a little intimidated,"L-Luna..." She tried her best to speak but she found it hard.

Luna was getting impatient and irritated. "Yes. That's my name. Don't wear it out, kid. Now, for our first lesson," as she said this, a smirk crossed the Cresselia's face,"learn to fly."

As she said that, she pushed Celeste off of her star platform, causing her to plummet down to earth.
