Celeste sat on a star platform that Arceus had placed there for her, watching Spike from above. She had been doing this for days now and it became a sort of routine. She spent almost all of her time thinking about Spike. She made sure he was ok, she daydreamed about them reuniting, she hoped that he felt the same way about her as she did to him.

"Oh, she's at it again... Hey starhead! When are you going to realize that you'll never see him again!" Luna yelled, in Celeste's direction. Celeste paid no mind to the comment, for she had learned to ignore Luna over the past few days.

Bubbles flew over to her. "Hey Celeste, let's play!" She said, although she knew the offer would be denied. As predicted, Celeste shook her head, continuing to watch Spike.

Over the past few days, Celeste knew Spike was having a hard time surviving. His mother had died soon after they left the mountains. Once he got to Kanto, Spike was caught by a local Pokemon trainer named Austin. Austin had a team of four, which included Spike, a poliwhirl, a raichu, and a pidgeott.

Celeste believed that Spike was safe with his trainer. He seemed like a nice enough person. But still, Celeste watched Spike. She felt that if she took her eye off of him for even one second that disaster would strike. The other Pokemon that lived with her in the skies made fun of her.

"Why do you waste your time on such an average, mortal Pokemon?" Gensect asked. "Oooh Celeste is in loove," Bubbles said In a childish way. "Ha! You wish!" Luna smirked. But Celeste didn't care. "Spike isn't average. He's special. He's stronger than any of you think. And yes, I am in love. And I do wish, every second of the day, that I could be with him," Celeste said, looking at all three Pokemon with a glint in her eye.

Celeste's POV
I honestly don't care what they say... I will find a way to be reunited with Spike...I love him, with all my heart. And even if he doesn't feel the same, I'll be there for him. But in the meantime, I have to deal with these three... *sigh*

That night, Celeste couldn't sleep. She watched as Spike's trainer stopped at a Pokemon center to rest and felt relieved that Spike was In a safe place, but she still wasn't able to sleep.

So, she  went to talk to Arceus. She floated up to him on his celestial throne. "Hello, Arceus. I'm sorry for disturbing you, but I jut can't sleep..." Celeste said, looking up at the large, powerful Pokemon. Arceus was silent for a moment, and then, as if a memory was brought back to him, his face lit up.

"I think I know why. Did I ever tell you about your ability to grant wishes?" Arceus asked. Celeste shook her head, now full of curiosity. "Well, I'll tell you now: you have the ability to grant any wish. Even your own. Although I strongly advise you not to go granting everyone's wishes. In fact, it's best only to grant the good wishes. The reason you can't sleep, is because people are wishing upon your star," Arceus said and gestured to the star Celeste always sat on.

Celeste was baffled. She could grant any wish? Any wish?! So that meant she could wish to be with Spike again? The thought filled her with excitement. Arceus saw this and he smiled but then said, "Not yet, my child. You'll be reunited, just wait for the right moment."

Celeste nodded and hugged Arceus before going back to her star. This time, she came back overjoyed, knowing that soon, she'd be reunited with the love of her life.

She went to check on Spike before she went to bed and saw that him and his trainer were doing some late-night training. 'Cool!' Celeste thought. 'Let's see what Spike can do!' But then she looked a little closer at the trainer and saw something in his hand. 'Wait...is that a whip?!?'

And that's the end of the 14th chapter! It's a bit of a cliffhanger and hopefully you get it. But like I said, I'll work on updating more often. :3 cya!
